Interesting. I'd love more detail, but I guess you aren't giving any.

I have used Google Voice on 90% of my new accounts, and I always get 0/0 limits. Never have issues with Tracfones, so it's not my creation process, it's the #.

Like I said, you can actually get higher INITIAL limits with 0/0 than with 5 or 10, by calling, BUT, you pretty much HAVE to call if you're going to use GV. Don't recommend it unless you are comfortable on the phone.

More detail? I don't know what else to tell you.. I do it like anyone else would. You are correct about the # giving you 0/0 though.

Define "works fine".

I am trying to say that if the # is linked to another ebay/pp account, you will get 0/0 limits. I am not referencing Google Voice being the issue to this happening, I am referencing that if another # is used on an existing account then you will get 0/0.

I don't use my Google Voice #'s on other accounts.

I only use ONE GV # on ONE account each.

How do you explain that?

Recycled Phone Numbers possibly.

I thought of that too...

However, from experience, I know that GV #s are good for one year, assuming you NEVER use the # from the day you receive it. So minimum 1 year before the # is recycled....

I always pick #'s from po-dunk areas, like BFE Utah, BFE Kentucky, etc. Places where the population is about 15,000. It would seem rather unlikely that someone else picked the exact same # and used it on eBay previously for EVERY account.

Now, it's POSSIBLE, but I still find it unlikely...given that you can choose your # on Google Voice, unlike MOST call forwarding services.

Not saying you did, but someone else could've.

See above post. POSSIBLE, but very unlikely that it occurred for EVERY account.

If your accounts use GV and don't get 0/0 limits, something about your creation process is different than mine.

Well what's your creation process? I just got another 10/1000 account.

Create PayPal. Add GV phone, gmail address, Entropay card. Add bank account.

Confirm phone, email address.

Create eBay account. Use same info from PP on eBay.

Create first listing. Usually a book. When asked to add payment method for eBay fees, use PayPal and sign in. The click "list" use GV # for phone verification, then try to list item, 0/0 limits.

Exactly what I do. I don't use EntroPay though. I don't even add a bank account.

Re: Solution for 0/0 limits.

0/0 limit = Linking or wrong creating seller account setup

if Ebay not happy totally with your phone number you will get 5/500 and if your info nearly strong you can get 10/1000

You add bank account before you know that the account is usable? Then if it gets 0/0 what would you do? Unlink it?

I use VBA's, such as AllyBank (Works fine, pr0wake has confirmed as well), Barclays, etc. If it get's 0/0, I call in and get limits of 5, 15, 25, or 50 (depending on the rep)

If it's no big secret, would you mind PM'ing me? I'd love to start seeing those limits....

No doubt. That's why I requested a PM, not publicly divulging the info.

If you don't wish to share, that's fine....but when you brag about it openly, don't be surprised if someone asks for the secret. :p
