Are you sure it isn't competitors or bad blood buyers? That's pretty common too I hear. And have experienced lately...but that, is another story.

I liken these people to some of the nimrods they allow to have a drivers license. You let them loose out on the road without a leash, you give them an internet connection and a free ebay account, what do you expect? Utter chaos is what.

I might give UBID a go. Might be good to let things cool down after my latest ebay experience with the "buyer that would not die"

HA HA Modee... Yeah Ebay still has the deadbeats but think of it this way, you dont pay your fees so it is like Karma.... JK

Here is a good story for you about ebay back in the day (when I had my real info on there):
I sell adult items and someone won a DVD 10 pack that I had listed. Send the winning notice and waited for payment.... at the 10th day I sent a reminder, 12 day no response filed the NPB.. soon after I get an email from the person stating that they are are not paying for it as their kid used their account and bid on it and on top of that they threatened to call the police for me selling porn to someone under 18... so now I am laughing....but then I get the email that someone has requested my contact info and it was them.... so now I am like F this... I email them back and tell them that they need to pay for it as they bought it (per ebays contract when you place a bid LOL).
So I hear nothing back... 2 days later the police come to my house and say a complaint has been filed that I was selling porn to minors.... I just started laughing at them and nearly fell to the ground.
One officer: You think this is funny this is a serious offense... I continue laughing... then ask them how do they know that the person was a minor?
Other officer: Because the mother of the child made the complaint.
My Response: Well you see officer the purchase was made on Ebay and in order to have an account on Ebay (as per their rules) you have to be 18 and in fact I said the account that made the purchase belongs to " so and so" which was the mothers name so I said the mother made the purchase and if "SHE" allowed her kid to gain access to that and buy the porn then she should be arrested for that.

I then showed them the account information (when contact info is requested you get their info as well) to prove that the account was registered under the mother.

That is where it ended with them: "Sorry to waste your time, but you do understand we have to look into things"
Which, I replied: "That is fine but next time get all the information and facts first before you bother someone" (As I stated in the past I hate the government and police)

But my friend that is not where I let it end.....This was in my haydays and wanted to test the "contract" that ebay so proudly talks about so I filed a claim in small claims court. F it, if the person does not show it is an auto win!!!! But the person did show and this made me even more happy that day because I would now make her feel like an idiot...
All in All - The judge did not honor the "contract" but he scalded her badly and let her know that it was her responsibility to monitor her kid and that giving him accesss to her account made that possible and for that he awarded me the court costs... LOL
It was a fun day!!!!

I take it the buyer was in your city, town, or state at least?

The buyer happened to be about 4 towns over.
Just so you are aware you can file claims in small claim court even if the person does not reside in your state. An example of this is when a buyer pays for an item and the check bounces, you are polite at first and when it gets no where you file a complaint with the police for bad checks and fraud and then file with the courts. Granted you have to do the leg work and mark sure they recieve notice that they are being sued but it is worth it.
A no show is an uncontested win for you, You are awarded your claim!!!!
Now, Just cause you are awarded your claim does not mean you are going to get paid, but things have changed these days. With the judgement you can lien their property, ask the court to garnish their pay, report it to the credit agencies, there are a ton of ways to make that persons life hectic for bouncing the check. Just contacting their bank and informing them that you won a judgement for fraud and bad check writing will make them perk up and take notice.... What I am saying is eventually you will get paid.

Like they say the squeaky wheel gets the grease.... For you youngins out there what that means is if you make enough noise eventually you will get what you want just to shut up....
