Linking by Email Using IPHONE 5s
 

So I didn't realize ebay is tracking via email. I have been using my EMAIL with a banned ip for about a 1 1/2 now. I have also used my phone for all my gmail accounts as it is helpful to know whats up with each account. I haven't switched off display images. Are all 10 accounts screwed or set up to be screwed in the future? Everything else to tracking ip every single time i LOG IN is in place. I guess I overlooked this but is it a huge stealth mistake?

I was reading that apparently google "gmail" blocks the transfer of information (but of course google still has it).

there is a very good chance they are now linked. ALWAYS turn images off, but check your iPhone settings- you may have images turned off that way.

if not, then make some replacements asap

Seriously? YOU THINK ALL MY ACCOUNTS ARE LINKED? Wouldn't I have been suspended by now then...
I just turned off "load remote images"..

Has anyone ever actually been told they are linked by gmail from a ebay rep? I read that google keeps the information but doesn't share it? Im talking about the photos and ip's etc. .

no, ebay reps won't tell you that info. What happens is that you are flagged for removal if they were in fact linked. one or two may be fine, but if images loaded from each email account on your device while using the same IP, then the affected accounts are just being watched with the clock ticking. I give it 3 weeks max

The only thing you can solefoodbk is to operate via STEALTH moving forward...you will never know 100% if you are linked by eb agent or whatever ....can only speculate.

Yea. Its a little unsettling to have someone say your source of income is done. I have been doing the same thing since the start. I knew about email but I guess I figured it wasn't a "big deal". Well now I am relying on ebay for income ha, I gotta be 1000% sure of everything!

Plus operating 11 accounts gets to be a lot to manage at start up. Once they all get going I'll be more than good. Just SUCKS waiting for increases and I'm not about to have 30+ stealth accounts. I guess I'll have to make more soon.

Plus I've done things that should have triggered a quick ax on me if I was linked. I listed a item about 4 days ago with the keywords "versace type" which is search manipulation that can get anybody in trouble but when your linked those things typically bring the MC999 almost immediately.

But if I got linked I'd be getting a suspension soon then right? I don't have to forever look over my back do I? (more than any stealth would)

Noone can ever afford to assume with stealth.

It backfires big time.

Why do you ask specifics of a company that is known to never play the game straight?

None of us can tell if a suspension is absolute or imminent.

You goofed with a method that is clearly stated on this forum how to use.

Mistakes happen.

You have to work out what is the better approach now.

I already have. I don't exactly know to what extent I "goofed". I use my phone for a hotspot. In other words that ip gets changed frequently. Which is why I have to track ips so much. I guess I just have to hope.

And I know the iPhone doesn't use flash which is somewhat helpful

Just be aware, and prepare, because one mistake is logging on to an account and forgetting to change the ip from another

But flash beacons from images in emails can be a disaster, it can link every account you have

I know gmail said they were filtering images against this type of tracking, But you need to operate like they do not, you can not rely on anyone, because in the end it's your business and you will be shut down, and there is no blaming gmail or anyone.

Mistakes are made accounts will go down, you just need to continue to learn from mistakes and keep making improvements

You know there is a possibility that all accounts could be linked so , just make another 11 accounts the right way so at least they are aging in case something happens because this type of linking sometimes could take 5 months and out of he blue all 11 accounts go down

So be proactive , also look into Amazon

You goofed by not disabling images AND taking a chance with an iphone.

But, that is done and dusted now.


Please at least try to read the ebay tracking & many posts on iphones so you are now more aware .

Why you don't use new gmail, phone's number for each accounts? anh be sure that use good IP
