Default Is buying ebay accounts a good idea?

Has anyone any experience or advice on buying ebay accounts? As the stealth accounts take a while to build up, I would like to buy a couple to get selling. Are these accounts already verified and are there any disadvantages to them? Thanks

What ever questions you have, you should ask the sellers who are verified to sell accounts your questions.

Whatever you do, just make sure the account is made or has all of the information corresponding to your physical location. Red Flags get raised when an account registered to California logs in from Maine.

I recently bought an aged account here (thanks Fox20c) while I started setting up a second more solid account that corresponds more closely with my own personal info. My bought account works fine. I have sold a few low risk items but a lack of ratings will keeps sales lower obviously. And even if you buy an account you will not immediately be able to sell like before without raising suspicion.
You will still have the 21day paypal hold (or until its delivered etc) you can only list a certain (very low) amount in some categories on a new account.
Like exile said my bought account was in the same state as I am but not the same town so I will have to manage returns differently if I ever get any. Will change the address after a couple more sales not to look to suspicious.

The disadvantage I would say it that it does not correspond even remotely with your personal data. So you will need to change the address (perhaps phone depending on the seller and how it was set up). May be limited on amount you can sell in some categories as I said before.

Lets face it with stealth you need a few accounts to spread the risk. I bought one to get things going and am building up a few more. Got my first own going recently as well. If you are in a hurry buy one but keep in mind you will still need to start slowly.

I have bought many account from sellers here all of them in other states like California & Ohio and I live in Florida and never had a problem login into account.

I do not use any VPN or hide my ip address I only use 2 usb stick for all accounts no problems so far.

Understanding stealth + applying stealth to the buying of new accounts = can be successful.

I think as an account seller, I can still honestly say that you should try to make your own stealth accounts. You should trial and error and figure out where you went wrong and where you went right. Post questions on the forum and search the forum for answers to questions. Nothing is more satisfying than creating your first successful stealth account.

If you are in a hurry to get a new account, and have to buy one, then buy one. Patience and stealthing go hand in hand no matter if you buy an account or make one yourself.

Good Luck!

the key is consistency

if you have an account with a long history of logins from ohio, then start logging in from california with no cookies, that will raise flags.

if you have a brand new account made wherever A and login wherever B, the limited time spent in wherever A is irrelevant. Building up consistency is the key to success

Eh, it depends on your situation. A purchased stealth account is okay for those in a rush I suppose, who just want to get back up and selling without doing any work. I still strongly recommend reading eBay Stealth (it's a short read), which will explain how stealth accounts work. We have trusted sellers in the forum who can help you out if needed and there is the Stealth Book to guide you along the way.

Cheers!
