I need to use a new paypal account for my ebay
 

For whatever reason my paypal account is in my mother's name, I didn't realize this was going to happen when I used her bank and credit card to help her buy some stuff and help her with money when I created the account. But the problem is that I would rather use my own credentials for my paypal account.

If I open a new paypal account, would I be okay with removing the one I have from ebay and adding the new one?


Or can I change ownership of my existing paypal account from my mother's name to mine?

My ebay account is registered from oct 06, 2005

I have 840+ feedback, mostly seller feedback dating from 2007 or 2008 I think

Well is it okay to add new paypal (under a new name since the one I'm using is currently in my mother's name) to attach it to my ebay? Will I be okay or will they suspend or give me trouble?

Or can I change my current paypal account's name to my own with my own credentials?

Yes, you can.. it may limit your EB account though. Somebody else may be able to shed more light on that. But try to match the info and make sure that PP is verified also.

NO, you can not change names... At least not that I know of unless strict situations (marriage, divorce, etc).

So then all I can do is open a brand new paypal? Will I be okay with replacing and attaching that onto my ebay account or will ebay raise some questions and give me a hard time?

Placing a new PP on your current EB may limit your EB account. Somebody else may be able to shed more light on that. But try to match the info and make sure that PP is verified also.

Like I can use my own name on the new paypal with ebay as long as the other info is more or less the same like address as well as bank and credit card verified?

Because my mom passed away and her bank account no longer works or credit cards

You shouldn't have any issues. Make sure that the new paypal account is 100% verified and ready to go. Make sure you also change how ebay fees are handled as well.
