About to create a new account. Can I use the same computer?
 

Hi, I have my stealth account running on my Mac and it looks promising.

However, I do not want to have my eggs in one basket In case I get limited or banned so I am going to create a new account today to spread sales.

My friend is okay with me using his info.

He lives down the street from me and I have his wifi.

For my account at my house which Is on a different street in the neighborhood, I have my own wifi which I connect to ONLY for my account.

Will everything be safe If i register a selling account will all his info on a new user account on my mac computer and use It only when I connect to his wifi? or will I need to use my old factory reset Dell Laptop instead?

Also, and tips? tricks, to make this happen as smooth as possible?

Need to come up with a new plan.

No longer a good idea to use friends infomation. Your account should be fully stealth.

If they have never used eBay and I am going to have access to all their info with permission I dont see the problem.

Tons of potential problems.

One very significant problem is the 1099K. Bank accounts, SS numbers, personal information, tax liabilities, etc... all all other significant issues. What happens if your relationship goes south? What happens when the problems above cause stress between the two of you?

It almost never goes well using someone else info. If you want, let them sell your items and work out a profit sharing deal, but your plan almost never works. You can read hundreds of posts on this forum about bad experiences.

yankee is SO right.
I opened an.ebay account for my sister in law who let me sell from it. Then she fell out with her brother and asked him to shut account down. My partner didnt.tell me when all of a sudden my ebay and paypal was suspended. My paypal was put on hold with funds in and when i phoned up paypal they told me that someone had rung up ebay and told them someone was using her name for an.account. Obviously it was.her. i was furious as i wasnt involved in the argument...but it did result in a loss of accounts

Friends or relatives info is a ticking bomb and you have no idea how long the fuse is......

Using friends info never a good idea but yes can use same computer, would also recommend looking into vmware
