I have a suggestion from someone else on the forum who says they just let the seller send it to the stealth address and basically give that person a free gift.

This way both the person receiving is happy to get something for free and the seller will give good feedback!

Thoughts on this anyone? Is this a viable alternative?

Anybody else tried this?

This is like having a conversation with a child about why they shouldn't be doing something, and the child asking "But Why"? LOL.

If I have a stealth account that I do not have access to, I just let them keep the item and issue them a refund. They are usually ecstatic that they do not have to be bothered with anything, plus they got their money back, plus they still have the item. And I almost always get FB, and if I do get FB then it is positive. I have never had a negative left by doing this, and I do it all the time.

If it is something that I care about getting back, then I only list it on select stealth accounts. This is where friends and family come into play.

Sorry, just thought I could be helpful with that suggestion but I get your point. There really is NO NEED to get buyer feedback points as a seller.

However, there is an explanation as to why both kinds of feed back are important -
(From the eBay community forum)

When you understand what the numbers and stars mean, you'll find it easier to evaluate a member's reputation."

I can understand this explanation and how it relates to the buyer/seller experience so there may be some relevance to it, however, I'm not so sure it's worth the effort on a stealth account?

BUYER FEEDBACK IS 100% WORTHLESS!!!!

So how many more times from how many more members do you need to hear this?

Ok, so another way of looking at it, does the major sellers, you know the ones selling a few hundred K a month have even a single buyers feedback? Do you think Under Armour feels the need to have buyers feedback?

Next, BUYERS FEEDBACK is worthless no matter what. A buyer can only get a positive feedback. Even if they are a thief, dumb as a box of rocks, has a personality of a dead mackerel, all get glowing positive feedback?

Now, when you buy, do you care what BUYING feedback your seller has? Of course not, a buyer can only get positive feedback. Buyer feedback is pointless, worthless, meaningless, has zero effect of any kind on your selling, does not effect your DSR, TRS, Defects, etc...

So my only question I have for you who keeps asking this question over and over on multiple threads, HOW do you "imagine" buyer feedback is helpful to you?

Only selling feedback counts for a seller account - DSRs, etc.
