| | | | | Kiroshi | 10-22-2014 02:13 PM | Success Story! TRS again! Just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone for their help on this forum.
In mid July I got my Paypal limited which had a top rated seller ebay account (limit of 400) linked to it. I had a baby due in September and a second income netting me another 50% of my take home salary snatched from me. Needless to say I went few a fair few emotions!
I found this place and decided to try and salvage something but this time to do it properly.
I read the stealth guide, several times in fact asked lots of questions (sorry!) but only when I had 150% understood EVERYTHING I made some accounts along with buying a couple.
Well, it has been 3 months and my main account I use now has a limit of 2400/£6500 and just got Top rated seller status again. Another account is at 650/£3500 and is projected to get TRS next month. The amazing thing is that after losing 1 months trade, I am now in a far far better position than I have ever been since starting to use ebay a few years ago.
My wholehearted advice for anyone who is in a position similar to what I had is stay positive, BE PATIENT and the limits will increase naturally. Also know that the dream can stop at any time so always have fallback accounts!
Thanks Aspkin, all the moderators and everyone else, it really is a pleasure to be part of this. |

| mtproducts | 03-18-2016 07:04 AM | Re: Success Story! TRS again! Nice to here stories like this, I aim to be in the same positions in two/ three months. Thankyou for sharing your story. Keeps the motivation going especially once sale start to flood back in :)
Would be good to find out the status of these account 2/3/4 year on, hopefully Kiroshi will get back to us. |
| Kiroshi | 03-19-2016 01:30 PM | Re: Success Story! TRS again! Hey all. As per requests I will give you an update.
Ok so that first stealth account mentioned is standing at 2000+ 100% positive feedback, I have another, which is around 700 100% positive.
When it comes to limits, christ I dont even pay attention anymore as its FAR beyond my needs. I am talking around 16,000 items and around £100k a month? It may be more I dont actually know. Both these accounts started at a 100/£3500 limits.
with my second account I have since started a specific website as it has done so well.
I also have around 6 dormant accounts, 2 of which are used to sell things in small amounts, just to keep it active and slowly building feedback. I think they have around 150 feedback with limits increased to around 500 ish.
The thing to note the most is when I was using my real name account and trading from that, looking back I was clueless. This forum has taught me so much on not only how to run stealth, but how as a seller, we get SCREWED and its best 99% of the time to just let the customer win. After all, those bad marks on your account because you decided to argue back etc a month later... was it really worth it?
Dont give up and use this horrible unsettling experience as a way of you getting to know the ebay game like a pro. Let the increases build naturally and dont put everything into one account. |

Much better than the horror stories many of the new members share with us.
Need more of this type of story.
Good job and keep it up! |

Well Done! ;) |
