how many Listing policy violation alert: Trademark Violation will cause acct suspen?
 

Hi guys, I need some help.
I am trying to sell some AD signs for some beer and was probably reported by competitor, receiving Listing policy violation alert: Trademark Violation.
I wonder how many time of these warnings,based on your experience, will caused an account restricted? I had 2 so far, and I searched online, some has a few but still fine. I am just worried.

Depends totally on the account. The older and stronger an account the more it will be able to stand. A new account could possibly go down on the first voilation. I would avoid going over 3 in any case.

as far as what happens to me...... first one is okay... 2nd one is 7 day selling restriction... 3rd one is 30 day selling restriction..... 4th one your done.... that has just been my personal experience..

Thank you so much guys! It's very useful to me. Now I feel a lot easier. My account is about 2 years old and sell with good limit, established with real legal information. I already had my first warning on Aug, but 2 more in last week because of my competitor's report which is funny since he is doing selling the same thing. I will simply pause the sales for a while.

I have had hundreds in one day, all from one item sold over many many many months. Nothing happened at all. I called ebay and relisted the items. One of my sellers will get a very silly vero and loose an account altogether. It all depends on the account and your relationship with ebay as well.

Here is the worst thing. If a bad rep looks at your account, you will get indefinitely restricted or suspended with a friendly "we felt your selling activity was high risk" email from eBay. So there is NO guarantee anymore that you have a full 3 violations to go thru before getting squashed. My advice, lay it off for a while if this is a valuable account.

Thank you guys, my accounts only have about 300 feedbacks but 98.5% positive. I would never relist anything removed. Just worried those listed being reported by competitor again. I would be careful now.

If the account is brand new it could go down on the first listing violation. Happens sometimes.

If the account is a little older, you usually are able to get away with a few violations, especially if spread out over a longer period of time. These usually entail warnings, having to take tutorials on vero, 7 day suspensions, and 30 day suspensions.

Just like with new accounts, there is a possibility that a more established can get suspended indefinitely with just one mc999. It happens.

Violations are considered worse if they are from the same company or pulled by the same copyright firm, even if for separate items.

When your violation becomes too many and some one complain directly to Paypal then you can received permanent limitation so be careful and start building another accounts
