Selling Limit
 

Hello all,

I have created an ebay account and verified with paypal and credit card. I am now waiting to verify bank account in paypal. I was given a 10/1000 limit and have already exceeded it in one day.
What can I do to increase item selling limit and when should I try?

Is this a brand new account? and did you list 10 items on the first day of creation?

Sell to your limits each month, follow stealth rules and increses will naturally come.

Do not list 10 items straight away. Space it out over a few weeks for the first month or two.

I listed items few days after I created the account.
The items I list are cheap 10-25 and the markup is like 20-50% markup, so I don't really make that much.
This isn't as much a stealth account as it's a real one.
I have a new IP, credit card, paypal, bank account, address, and phone# all that really point to me. So technically I can call in as well.
I did call in on my original account and I think I had to provide some proof, I cant remember.

Calling in is always a risk and should only be done if you are willing to loose the account.

Any reason for this, I did it with my other account and was fine.

There is always a risk that eBay will fine one reason or another to shut an account down, urgo there is always a risk when ringing eBay.

Its happened to a lot of people

if this is a stealth account, you should be able to answer all the security questions ebay will throw at you, if not you are getting the risk of getting limited or banned.

I'd consider this a semi-stealth as I have access to all information phone/address/paypal/bank/creditcard/email
I have a new IP and new PC profile.
My only concern is the product, it's service based, however, I do see other selling the same with no issues.

If you know everything there is to know about this new identity hey why not call, but if you are 0.1% unsure, you should just let it increase through time.

Also, will they tell me to call back later as the account is rather new, to increase the limit?
