MC999 Account Assessment Help
 

Hi all.

I just got a email like 30 minutes ago and was the lovely MC999 :pry:. I called in and the lady said that this time for my account "assessment". I assume this all is because I just deleted my paypal as reimbursement and added a vcc from makerviet..also unlinked paypal.

This account was actually a 100/5000 I bought from here on the forums so I had a bad feeling she might ask database questions if she wanted to be ****. She basically just told me my paypal was unlinked and reinstated my account :clap:
I have already linked it backed to my ebay account and relisted all my items.

This account has grown fast and I know its going to quick so I will be taming things down shortly but it has
40 feedback
5 5 5 5 dsr
95% shipping uploaded by quoted date
45 sold items, 1200 gross on a 2 month account.

I had to sell to make money to feed myself so thats why I worked the account so hard. I guess at this point is my account in the somewhat safe zone? In other words is this a GOOD thing that I got a MC999 and passed it successfully "fully verified" in Ebays eyes since it was manual. Im going to list slowly and not much more for this remainder of the year anyways..

My heart dropped when I saw that Mc999..didn't even seem real for like 10 seconds.

No your definitely not in a safe zone, you just were singled out, your account is now exposed, be very careful

When an account gets an MC999 and gets manually reviewed its not a good thing, you want to try and never get a manual review

They may have reinstated you, but don't think your invincible , it's actually the opposite , and your account is very fragile

Don't put all the listings back up, go really slow, and not sure why u unlinked your paypal account and added a VCC, VERY unnecessary move that put your account at risk

What was your reasoning for unlinking your paypal account??

I unlinked because on this forum its recommended. I realize once its linked its linked so there really is no particular reason other than trying to be 100% stealth for here on out. I will say that when I first got on this forum I thought everyone here were crazy paranoid how they talked about ebay/paypal and all the randomness. Live & learn.
I have 20 stealth accounts and I find it amazing how each account is almost treated differently (the more aged ones).

I already relisted so I'm not going to edit it again. I don't plan on selling much more on the account but I would like to in the future. Its helpful to know I should add a layer of egg shells to the ones I already was walking on.

I meant it is recommended or at least was to be separate from paypal. With the new security and it being the holiday season soon things obviously change. (This is my first holiday season too)

I figured too that since I'm on my game with 0.00 defect and shipping items same day as payment I'd have some wiggle room.. Ha nope.

You should always link your verified paypal to your eBay account, it's not recommended not to, and you now know first hand what happens when they are not linked

Why are your spreading tales?

It is NEVER recommended to unlink paypal. You can never leave an ebay account vulnerable without a paypal source.

Stick to the proven methods and not the half baked ones that make trouble.

How about a link for that stupid recommendation?

Like I said, it's BAD info and needs addressing quickly.

Need to spread sales OP - more accounts - build them - deletion of account and removal of link does not solve matters and looks worse for security reasons. Learn stealth well and redo.

Sad to hear about your situation but it happens to many
