I got up this morning and looked through the forum as i always do to catch up and i saw a.post by someone mentioning xmas. I cant find it now but its worried me as im.about to set up another stealth today as i have everything ready to do it.
But the post mentioned that accounts will be getting mc999s more likely now and that it might be less bother in feb, march time.
They didnt say it would happen, but every chance. im glad poster brought it up so i could ask as i keep forgwtting about xmas.
Would you hold off now and wait or is it still worth me setting it up. I guess i could set itbup but not sell anything on it. Or do you think i should just do what ive been doing and set it up and start slowly.
I know ebay will be more watchful of new accounts at xmas but again....im not selling.branded names.

You seems to have all the knowledge you need... no reason to postpone your new account.

It will be ready to boost for the new year ;)

That would be me! I'm not saying you can't create accounts if you don't know how to...Its just if you don't know how to get past the 0/0 there is a pretty good chance you will get one.

I haven't created a new account for 2 weeks so I could be wrong, but I would assume the closer to christmas the harder it will be to create a new account. Thats how it was for me last year. You have to be on top of you game stealth wise around this time thats all.

Also be prepared for a the mc999 after listing your first item. You may get a rep that will automatically ask database questions! Which really is my point. After this holiday mess creating a account is simple as it always been when done correctly. Its just around this time your almost forced to call eBay one way or another, as usually thats not the case.

Some people apparently can get around the 0/0 and the immediate MC999 following your first listing. I haven't.
