Question on address linking
 

Ok I was permanently banned years ago for dsr on shipping .

Now my cousin wants to sell but we were raised in the same address but years apart. Family home.

He now lives in a different address and actually different state. If they do a background check would having that common address from 8 years ago be enough to get the old boot.

Your cousin should not be linked if his current info differs.

oh sorry about being impatient.

and thank you so much for the knowledge.

One more thing sometimes they make you answer questions about yourself and includes address do you say no to those since we live under the same roof in one time.


Will they ever do like a credit check and see we once upon a time lived under the same roof. He lives in california now but we grew up in Michigan. We have different last names and everything

Your cousin or you?

If it's your cuz, then he should join the forum. We dont do 3rd party advice

OR: have you left a really bad mark on ebay and are scared of damaging stuff for your cuz?

I am just worried that I messed things up for him.


The story is I lived in the household until 8 years ago. Then moved out , he and his mother lived there at the time. He is now 20 and wants to sell on Ebay, but I was curious if I had damaged his chances. I dont want to hurt him , so I was just asking if he would be ok. He lives in California now. He has a different last name then me and he is about 10 years younger.

The only reason I got banned was because of low dsr for shipping time. So now if he uses it , he should be fine right. I just want to give him good advice and hope my mess up will not affect him , since he needs the extra income since he has a baby on the way.

Kudos for caring fro your family. :)

If his address is different, if his state is different and he runs his account the right way, he should be OK.

It's a big plus as well the name differs. Not much there for him to have issues.

Nothing is 100%. Never rely on ONE account. Learn stealth - make backups and BUILD them. Why risk getting all eggs in one basker?
