ebay asks me to fax docs
 

yersterday i used an account i registered in April with 1 feedback and I linked a verified paypal .I listed 5 items yesterday and the payment i chose paypal AND credit card/merchant account,no problem.Today i listed 5 another items still no problem but when i tried to list the 6th item,ebay asks me to fax docs about my merchant account.

I wonder its new ebay policy to ask sellers to fax merchant accont docs when you choose to accept credit card payment even you choose paypal as well Or ebay dont want a new account to list many items per day as i listed the first 10 items without problem.

Anyone met this situation before?Thank you

PS: i turn off ebay checkout and dont choose paypal preferred as i want to use ccnow

The way ebay is at the moment a bit if everything you have outlined. Have you sent the merchant account docs to them or stated that you have one? ebay is not letting anyone sell unless everything is OK once you go past a certain number of items, certain amount of money and what category.

i wont fax docs to ebay as i want to use ccnow.Any other met this problem too or only me?

I have a account that I had since 2002 and started using it last month with no problems knock on wood :D I only use merchant account and no paypal option at all and have listed more then 10 auctions. I think it may be either the catagory you are selling in or that you are trying to list worldwide and not just usa ebay. Then again maybe ebay are up to there nit picking with certain sellers :confused:

When i uncheck PP payment, and try to solely use credit card as payment, i get this message:


"We noticed that you chose to offer credit card as a payment option. To confirm that you can support this process, please fax a copy of your most recent merchant processing statement to (408) 904-7387. Please ensure the statement is complete and includes all pages.

Please include your eBay user ID, phone number and email address in the fax so that we can contact you.

While we confirm your merchant credit card account, you can continue listing items on eBay with PayPal as the payment method. PayPal is convenient to use and offers buyers and sellers protection against fraud, chargebacks, and theft of financial data."

The luck of the draw. Youll need to fax some in or make some up.
