Would Selling A Linked Business Un-Link it?
 

I had 4 eBay businesses. Only 2 were active. I got sick and failed to make shipments on time and eBay killed 1 active and the 2 inactive businesses but said they would close all of them. That was in September.

My remaining business is still running! Why they haven't closed it I have no idea. They were all linked. The one still alive has a 100% feedback with a lowest DSR of 4.9 but has slipped from being Top Rated to Above Standard when they changed the rules and recaptured all the "Defects" from the past 12 months instead of 90 days.

I've been holding my breath for the inevitable closure of the 4th business and was wondering - if I "sold" it to another entity or person, and did the full stealth procedure, (changed all the business information, got a new ISP address, new address, new phone, new PayPal account and linked it to that business, Etc.) and then that entity or person made the claim to eBay that the business was not in any way connected to the 3 now closed businesses in response to the statement at the bottom of the Monthly selling limits section that says "Let us know if a user ID shown here isn't a related account" . . . would that un-link it and save that remaining business?

Link will still exist on the ebay/paypal side.

A new owner is actually then buying a tainted account if there a links to suspended accounts.

How will they like it when ebay declines to believe they are new owners?

It would not unlink it like GB stated - with eB...you should err on the default side: linking
