How Long Before you start selling?
 

Going by ebay stealth book, they say to have your account at least a month old before you start slowly selling, is this a month from setting up just your ebay account or pay pal as well?

Would recommend setting up pp before eb - I like to do activity with my pp before going on eb

I set up 4 ebay accounts last week havn't added pp yet. How much activity would you do on pp before?

I list the same day I open my seller account!

I always sage age an account for 30 days, in the long run you WILL reap the reward of doing that

Some I let age some I list one first day non vero unbranded though.

I always list it same day. I list household goods. It is the way you make the accounts. I have always done it this way and I had never had issues. There are times I get hit with MC999 but rarely.

I like to make sure the accounts have good history with selling and buying before I go on solid selling.

I let an account age 3-4 weeks....then sell only 1 or 2 items, and wait another 2-3 weeks before listing anything more.......this timeline for me has produced no MC999's and raises to 100/5k come within 90 days.....this method has served me well.

I wait 30 days, I create browsing and bidding history in those 30 days.

Then first item should be low value non branded safe item. Sell as an auction.

You will not go far wrong.

I like to get that first item listed right away, always an unbranded low cost item, Auction style and 7 day

Usually start at .99 cents and ends below $5

I'll usually list it right after making the account so that the 90 day clock starts turning

In a nutshell the best approach YOU can do is to experiment what works for YOU. This is a question that evokes many different responses. The reason being is we all at the end of the day run stealth just a little bit differently then the rest. This is good.

We all sell different items, and I'm sure we all have our own methods to getting eBay to work in OUR favor instead of against us. Heck when I first started I got like 5 accounts limited off the jump. Ouch.

Its not I didn't know stealth its that I experimented and tested the limits on what I could do with eBay and Paypal. You can walk on egg shells for 3 months, yes this is one method, but its not the only method.

There are many ways to :fight: eBay and Paypal.

Its best to find what works for YOU and for what YOU sell.
