Question about linking ebay accounts to remove limits

Do they have to be from the same address ? I have a new eBay account that I bought from here with 100 item £3500 monthly limit and thought I might be able to link it to a stealth account that I made with the 10 item monthly limit still in place. If not there must be another way I can lift the limit on the account that I made.

No point in doing this. Limits will be spread across the 2 accounts.

Sell to the max each month and limits will eventually be lifted

Silly to do so. Jamesnorth101 is 100% correct.

Why supply a link to a account you already invested (probably) $250 in?

Make more accounts...

You will find the more accounts you make and more deeper you get into stealth...you will sleep MUCH better at night knowing your accounts have 0 links.

Its a ticking time bomb when you make links.

Don't create unnecessary link just to TRY to get higher limits - limits will be halved or even worse, reduced

I did this a LONG time ago. It worked for I think 2 months... and well you can probably guess what happened. :smash:

Re: Question about linking ebay accounts to remove limits

With US accounts in my experience it's little different , but I only have did this with 5 accounts having two eBay and one paypal, but if the account I connect to is established than I'd usually start with 100/5000 limits and get a quick raise on that second account , sometimes days after to 320/20k I had on one

But once you do this I feel you become exposed and eBay watches your accounts extremely close

If you do this technique you need to run your account as straight as possible

No mess ups, everything needs to be in its right category, you can not list the same items across accounts, and you shouldn't even list the same category across both accounts even if products are different, they can get you for circumventing category limits

So if you do this you need to have one account electronics and the other health and beauty, just an example. Two completely different stores

Also if you purchase an account with 100/5000 limits that is not an established account, it is just a higher limit account, an established account would be if you had 100/5000 limits or whatever and a 90 day selling history

Heck no.

Do that and you will risk having both limited and/or suspended.

This is no longer a working and safe practice.

ebay wants its sellers to earn higher selling limits.
