I need your help...
 

I recently just started my own home based business in Tennessee. I have a few tax questions. Now keep in mind, I am 15, i'll be 16 on Nov. 23rd. I have my business address which I have all of my business packages, letters, bills, etc. that go to a warehouse in Portland, Oregon and then later ship to me at my home address in Tennessee. Now, my concerns are that when PayPal issues me a 1099, that it will have my business address on it because that is what I used to sign up on eBay and PayPal. I'll obviously have possession of it because it will later forward to me and i'll receive it at my home address. Will it be an issue that the address, city, and zip code won't be the same as the address i'm filing from, to add, it'll even be in a different state? I'll have my name and my tax ID on it of course. (address located in Portland, OR and I am in Tennessee)

Okay, thanks for the info. But will it matter that the address on the 1099 will be my Business address that I signed up with on the Paypal/ebay account and I'm getting it forwarded to me in Tennessee, and I'll be filing from Tennessee and the business address is in Portland, Oregon? Thank you, it'll have my actual EIN on it of my LLC which will be registered under my address in TN as well, including my real name.

Don't worry about the address, when or if you get the 1099 it will be online in your PayPal account, and than best thing to do is give everything to your accountant and make sure they file everything with the correct state of your corporation.

A tax professional can sort everything out for you. No need to,worry as long as you have the money to pay the taxes

The 1099 will be in the same state/town/etc. however, I am using my uncle's ebay/paypal account so it is under a different name. Is this still okay?

Would it be possible at all just to give him the money to pay the taxes? I'm guessing it's a little more complicated than that

You need to speak to him about this...can be messy but again, speak to him with a financial professional as needed

Your going to need to talk to an accountant.
