Mailbox for dhl packages
 

Hey guys im running into a little situation, so ive been getting packages from dhl, but every single day the dhl guy comes to deliver im in college.
Is there a mailbox service out there that can accept the packages, and since the packages are international, they require signature, is there anyway to bypass that and they just leave the package in a mail box?

DHL cannot leave a package in a mailbox, it is not legal for anyone but the postal service to put anything into a mailbox.

But a UPS store can do it for you, they get DHL deliveries all the time and their people will sign for it. it costs about $15 per month. There are also smaller mom and pop mailbox rental places that also receive packages from other carriers. They all have their own rules, though, so be sure to check BEFORE signing up. I was with one small shop once that wanted $50 PER BOX as a receiving fee! The UPS store didn't charge any such fee. I DID tip their employees because my packages were heavy.

I leave signed notes on my door all the time for DHL

I also get text confirmations the day before my package is going to be delivered. That helps out greatly!

DHL leaves anything at the door as long as you leave a note.

Thanks for all the info.

Living in nyc and in a building where main door(which only opens through a bell or key) ore lse i would of told dhl to leave at door front.
