| ooooo.halo | 12-02-2014 06:47 AM | revising or removing On a 2-3 week old account, is it NOT a wise move to revise your listings or remove them?? Im stuck on 10 items a month and i made mistake of asking for automatic relist. I really want to remove or revise them so i can put another item in its place. Il leave it be if you think its unsafe to do this :-) |

Ive asked.coz im pretty sure someone on this.forum.recently.said that they revised a listing or removed a listing and their account got flagged.
Didnt want to risk that on a.2-3 week old account.
But if you think.i could then i really.want to :-) |
| yankee | 12-02-2014 09:26 AM | Re: revising or removing Not a problem at all.
It is good practice to revise a listing if it is wrong right?
Or to end a listing if the item was say Lost, Broken or no longer available for sale right? |

you are right, someone in here mentioned not to remove listings.. .there was some drawback I can't remember but in my opinion, removing a listing on a 2-3 weeks old account must be a quite normal behaviour in eBay's eyes... shouldn't be a big issue... you are a brand new seller right?! ;)
Mine is just an opinion... no direct experience.
If you still have doubt wait for someonelse to answer.

:thumb: | Thanks ilcarletto....il perhaps.just remove two.things so.as not to draw too much attention to account.
Il risk it and if anything happens, il know for future reference not to do it again so.soon.

The items have no.bids. i want to replace them with better items. Roll on an automatic increase :-)
Thanks |
| Dmshark25 | 12-02-2014 11:15 AM | Re: revising or removing I wouldn't pull every listing down at one time but if you had 10 up and wanted to cancel, all 10 with no bids, I would do 3 today 3 tomorrow , spread it out a little
It probably would do nothing canceling them all but that's up to you |

Re-list days or week later always changing something in the listing to be safe.
Starting price will do it. |

Re: revising or removing I just revised few things and pulled few listings last night - no issues |
| GreenBean | 12-04-2014 06:18 AM | Re: revising or removing Only issues was that dial-up was painfully slow.
Just in case you forgot to mention that too.

But their motive was to try to get around the number of items they could in fact list.
They simply flagged their accounts and were unlucky.
It would be the usual proceed with caution.

| Dmshark25 | 12-04-2014 08:16 AM | Re: revising or removing I'm not sure about UK but if you just want to cancel automatic reList than you don't even need to revise the listing all you need to do is bring up,all your Activit listings under My eBay and to the right of the listing picture where it usually says sell similar and under that "more options"
Click more options and if there is auto relist there will be a drop down list and the last option says cancel Auto Relist
And that's it, you don't need to revise listing, or cancel listing, just click cancel auto re list
Lot less invasive |

Lot less invasive | Again so helpful info for our newcomers.
Thank you for sharing as always.
