Are the rules actually Loosening up?
 

Ive been reading here and there where users are getting their accounts back for reasons unknown. So my thinking might be that eBay suspended and swept many accounts in the last three months....But now they realize that losing those accounts is costing them more money then dealing with the headaches of having those sellers(not talking about Vero, talking about low DSR's, Feedback), which it probably is. So they are getting internal memos to reactivate certain accounts, etc.

Just a thought...
What do you guys think?

I don't actually see any improvements in ebay being better but hopefully this is true and will continue and if so maybe I can get back some of my suspended accounts :D Just a thought.

I actually got a phone call today. My Powerseller Silver account is being reinstated! I have since moved on with other accounts but this one I was most proud of. He said I should be back up and running in the next few days and my business was appreciated. WTF? Kick me off how long ago and now accept me back with open arms? I have to admit this is scary but I was paying an average of 500-600 a month in fees. I sell for other people on consignment so my items go from diamonds gold to dump trucks and heavy equipment. Guess I shouldn't complain right? Right???????

Wow... eBay must be really desperate now. :)

Their stock hit $13 today with an 52 week high of $35.

They're losing a lot of value fast..

Didnt ebay just change their selling practices to less then 4.2 DSR then you are suspended. I got suspended with 4.5-4.6DSR's. Maybe thats part of it. Honestly...they lost A LOT of money in both eBay and Paypal from me. I HAVE to think its biting them in the ass now. I bet well see a lot of the legitimate non VERO accounts coming back at one point.

my half.com account was restricted today for a low DSR score i knew it was comeing any day now. i think there new feedback policy is rubbish

The best part of the conversation with this person was "Why didn't you call your powerseller hotline? Were you even aware you had one?" I told him I called every number and never got an actual human voice to explain things too. He GAVE me a number and I called it....it was an actual number but it took me awhile to get an actual person with all the menu's and options. They even verified I was getting my account back......now the question is this......do I actually go back to using it? Or continue on my merry way with the accounts I'm using now? On that account my stars were perfect....2 neutrals...one neg from a real idiot ebay newbie......I lost it because of Vero which was totally unfair. Maybe they realized that? I wrote the company that Vero'd me everyday. Never got an answer and I told the guy on the phone. We chatted for almost 30 minutes. I'm chatty by nature and easy to talk to. He admitted a few things too.....system is backed up by 8 weeks or more, stuff like that. Kinda gives you hope atleast I feel now I did nothing really wrong from the gitgo. I bent over backwards with this account shipping 2-3 times a day, refunding money even though I knew they were full of it, crazy. But I will admit Paypal is wrapped around my finger with this account. I never had a problem with them in any way. Guess I'll just wait and see what happens but by no means will I ever feel like part of that family again. Nobody is safe......

2 other NARU'd friends I made on ebay are re-instated. One got no phone call or email.....he just noticed he had a new feedback, checked and there he was! He's a jeweler and gold refiner. I'm sure they missed his fees every month! He got le boot for low feedback scores but he deals with alot of idiots in his business.
The other person got an email out of the blue after giving up. She didn't even try to create a new account her feelings were so hurt. It does hurt. And yet here I am trying to get back because honestly (and I listed everywhere!) nobody compares....nothing compares....to ebay.

Sorry to say, but ebay is kinda like drugs.

I got banned from selling too for going too low in my seller ratings, and then the same day it went up again cause I gave positive feedback to all buyers that I havent given it too and then I emailed to all of them, and one guy gave me positive rating and I got reinstated automatically.

My Powerseller account is up and running again!!! But I will still continue to use the *other accounts* as well. I thought I would feel happier than this though...???????

YEAH 2 of the idiots that opened disputes against me are "no longer a registered user"!!! 2 out of 9 ain't bad........!!!
