using eBay while living abroad??
 

Hey everyone, I have looked on here but have only found info on if you are going on holiday..

Before I was living overseas and using eBay to sell and I had someone in UK to post items etc.. No problems when I came back sold some stuff which got negative feedback and I left it and now account suspended..

I have set up a account now from a family member who has never used eBay etc all going good, I will be going abroad again and would like to keep trading

Should I just go ahead and use eBay while I'm out there but I know this will set off a alarm because it will be a different IP address but I do have ID documents but I don't really trust eBay or should I use a VPN??

Any advice on this subject would be great thanks

I would use a VPN, but it MUST show up as a UK VPN and it MUST be one that you own, not a "pooled" VPN that is shared.

Normally, I do not like to endorse any specific sellers on the forums, but in this case I would recommend 123 - He has VPN's that work well for eBay, I have been using one of them for almost 2 years with ZERO ISSUES. I BELIEVE he has them all over the world. If he does not, maybe he can refer you to someplace that has them.

VPN or VPS works well, I have been living overseas to my home country for years and never have IP related issues

Welcome to the forums. VPS/VPN works well for this.

If you have 100% 24/7 access to computer back home, could consider teamviewer or logmein

Don't know why more people don't do their Ebaying overseas TBH. I'd much rather be somewhere like Thailand or Mexico than England during winter ;)
