Why not call eBay?

This is another good success story. I was just getting started listing on a new account and instantly limited before I could list the first item. A limit of 0 items per month. So why not call them? I know I can't verify anything about this, but worth a try.. So I explain how I received an email a few days ago that I could start selling on eBay, but when I listed my first item I got a weird error that said I can list 0 items this month. I'm just trying to list some of my kids things And I don't know what I did wrong. So the guy said he wanted to ask me some questions that only I could answer. Ok. I told him my address, and that I just moved here from out of state. He never was able to pull up any questions to ask so went ahead and gave me a 25/1000 limit. Cool! This is more than an account that I have been selling for 4 months on. So why not call them, just be very nice and play dumb...

In this circumstance you should call them if you have time to wait on hold.

Have you received any limit increase?

Since I was given a 0/0 limit I had absolutely nothing to lose, so I gave it a shot and got 25/1250 limit.. Great start!

any increases since? Some people are saying these accounts wont get increases much like the 100-10000 accounts.

Just got the increase so only time will tell. I wonder if you are right tho, it may be a set limit that will never go up.. I don't know yet.

I haven't heard this. Is that true? I have a top rated seller account that seems to be stuck on that 100/10,000 limit.

Will they not do limits unless you call them?
