Checking selling limits

Hi guys

is it possible to check ebay selling limits without listing an item on a new account?

Your selling limits are listed on your 'all selling' page.

Yes as long as you created a selling account, just log in and go to My eBay , Selling, And at the top will show limits , if you just made the account it could take a few days or longer since you haven't listed anything but it usually shows within a day

Thanks

How do you create a selling account in the UK?

I thought it was changed to a selling count once you list an item?

Its normally automatic I think .

Then once you verify your paypal, it automatically increases to 25items per month from 10.

You will be VERY, VERY lucky to get a new account with anything other than 10/650 now for personal accounts.

Just google how to turn eBay account into sellers account and there is a link where you need to confirm the phone number and BOOM, you'll get the 10/650 and take it from there.

Unnecessary to create a seller account by listing an item

This.

I'm in no way an expert but as you create your account and add all the information and data needed, just turn your account into sellers account as you do it.
No point to wait till you list your first item, if you can get your selling limits before the wait.

10 items to start is still the norm in UK? In US I and others have seen a pretty consistent 5 item limit on new accounts since Jan.

True, but we are also lucky enough to get higher limits at random

I don't think this is true. I get plenty of 25,000 limits and a few unlimited accounts in recent days

Re: Checking selling limits

My recent experience was that I had to go through the steps to list an item before I could see any selling limits. I asked about this before here and I think ebay USA doesn't give you a limit until you try to sell.

I know I tried to list something one time and got all the way through before finding out my limit was 0/0.

Now on a new account I just throw together a junk listing with little info until I know my lmiit is not 0?0 and then I revise it. Saves time even though I can only remember one account (out of about 15) that gave me trouble.

Actually, you can create a seller account through the following link and find out your limits as soon as you add a payment method for your eBay fees: (To find out your limits, go to My eBay -> Selling)
