Burying Listing Testament
 

Part of this is venting but hopefully helpful to any newer members.

I have a account thats about 3 months old and had just gotten a increase from 100/5000 --> 150/5000, great right? Wrong...

About a month ago I had gotten a MC999 for reasons I'm still not sure, it was the standard mc999 where they ask your inventory, who you ship to etc etc. Well of course I passed it but after they did this I got a email saying because of my temporary restriction I now have to wait a additional 90 days for funds to be released without 21 day hold. :mad:

Now about a week ago I had a STUPID buyer open a case against me for a digital item that I no longer sell, to avoid silly situations like the one I was presented. He said he didn't "recieve the item" and wanted his .74 back. :mad:
Established ebayer who buyers digital goods ALL the time (I checked his buying history). Anyways I got the case closed in my favor but still have a defect on my account (waiting for it to fall off)...

Now ALL my listings are literally last in the search, like last last. I had started really driving sales on this account and listed up to 60 items and now they're screeching to a halt all because of eBays stupidity. Keep in mind I have ALL 5 dsr's, 100% postive feedback, shipping is 100% within time, I offer free shipping, AND offer 14 day returns. :doh:

This is how they punish a seller for doing everything they actually want from a seller... which leads to why we :spy:

I never knew how critcal stealth was until I saw my ALL my listings on the specific account came LAST in their search. I have plenty accounts so at this point I won't be listing anything else on this account until the defect drops and or this account falls back into "good standings" with them, even though techinaclly I'm over achieving in ALL categories as a seller. :rant:

Sounds like somebody didn't want to accept responsibility for the issues they were causing themself.


Anyway solefood I hope you got it worked out alright. This board was cozy a decade ago.. strange culture here over the years indeed.

Sounds like somebody doesn't know how to check dates before writing something condescending.

Thankfully I am where I am now, without knowing what you do, I already know I make vastly more than you.

I went looking for old posts. I purposely went to page 501 and clicked the first name I recognized because I like history. I make less than minimum wage, no doubt. Barely staying fed over here. :tears:

It was more a comment on the internet as a whole but I apologize for being offensive, for real. Everyone was much nicer a decade ago.
