Need help eBay MC011
 

I just got this message,
Hence,
I have a business ebay and paypal account,
Everything is under my business name,
I had this stealth account for over 6 months,
My limits are 300/$40,000,
100% feedback,
No open cases ect.
Then I receive this message,

Now how can I give them my ID if I have a stealth account?
I have invoices all made out to my business name,
Please help,

Supply the documents they ask for or open more stealth accounts. I would do both maybe.

Bail on it and move on, doing ids is bot easy lots of ways to spot bs ids, someone here somewhere gave us a link to know how to check different state ids for ⊗⊗⊗⊗

If you are making a stealth account EVERYTHING must be in the stealth name, PP & EB. Mix & match may have been the reason for the red flag. You will only get this message if eBay feels there is something not right. As far as a business name you create a "stealth" business name for the PP acct that is attached to the stealth eBay account. Leave the eBay account as personal.

I know there will be some that will disagree and it is their right to. But seems that I am giving you constructive information and so is danshan. Getting creative or give them the information is no the answer. The time to be creative is BEFORE a problem not after. Be proactive not reactive.

Bail on this account and take the loss. There is NOTHING you can do.....NOTHING. Even if by some miracle you call and get the account unlocked it will lock up again...move on. You have no ID in the stealth name so forget it...case closed.

Proper stealth means creating MANY back up account that you can go to.

I agree with bailing on the account. But NOT using ⊗⊗⊗⊗ IDs. You are now becoming an idenity theif if it's real. If it's ⊗⊗⊗⊗ don't you think eBay can see right through it...of course they can. Don't do it. No ID is better than ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ID.

The thing is everything is legit,
There is no ⊗⊗⊗⊗ business name ect,
I do have a brick and mortar store,
Do you think sending them my sales tax ID instead will work?

I dont know where you got that idea from.

The OP's account is pretty much locked, so its up to him if he feels its worth fighting for.

Getting creative, he will have nothing more to lose, since the worst that can happen as he will end up in the same place he already is.

My advice is to email them back and say..

"GO Fu*K youself and then go Fu*k yourself again."

No but seriously if you have a brick and mortor store and if what your sayig is eveything is really "legit" send them your business license or tax Id # if you feel comfortable doing that. If you think it might be a gray area maybe consult someone familiar with the subject matter is it about Intelluetal Prop. BS

Sometimes it's better not to response at all and let someone else do the talking for you.

I know you don't want to hear it, but that account is history now......don't waste time, get going on some new accounts.......that's the ugly reality of your situation.

This has nothing to do with intellectual anything!

It is a limited paypal account.

He needs to submit docs to unlimit his paypal account. He either does this or he does not do this. END OF STORY.

If it is a stealth account I would agree to move on it is done. If it was actually a legit account I would advise to call in and go as high up the food chain as possible. I believe it is called the Seller Venting Department. Had a friend who was on this board for a while get two accounts with EIN and SSN back after calling them and going through all their b.s.

If you are selling cakes or something like that is madd obvious forget it and move on.

Supply the documents needed but, keep in mind, you might still fail the checks - a lot may depend on what you are selling, if deemed to be risky...your call...
