How many items do you list each day with success ?

I just thought I would make this thread to get an idea of the amounts with to give other members ideas so they do not go over the top and get limited or banned.

I myself have messed up a few times through greed so now is the time to get it right, as there must be that point somewhere.

I was putting on 6 a day but got limited after 2 weeks then I dropped to 4 and it was going OK until I decided to put a buy it now on with 10
items then limited again. Also I got a few MC999s from scheduling items.

To add the items I sell are around £50 each and they are vero.

In the very beginning, a.couple of listings then waited a few days before adding another couple.
Then after a month, maxed out my listings. Just started adding a couple of buy it nows into them too and slowly started to add 5 day listings....as was solely using 7 day auctions :-)

I don't think their is a set number.

I sometimes list 100 items and sell 10-15K on auction the first time I use a raised limit account. On all my 10-1000 accounts I sell ten items within two weeks, usually within three days.
I don't have any issues actually on the ebay side. Maybe it is my items. On paypal I get reviews when I bring in a big dollar amount but those lat 7 days at tops.

Go with non VERO items to the max and you're good

If you have multiple accounts (hopefully you do), I would test different methods on different accounts. There some basic to this but by doing this you really can see what works and what doesn't. There TONS of factors that come into play with your question. You only become a stronger ebayer when you test the limits imho.

What is the reason they give for limiting you?

To sell vero items, you really need an established account with solid feedback. Even then there are no guarantees.

Always start accounts by getting some feedback selling household type items. Act like you are a new seller and get rid of 3 or 4 old pairs of jeans you don't want anymore even if you lose money. Just to build trust.

Selling Vero is risky because it is policed by the brands. Even selling cakes that aren't is risky as well. If would advise anyone to stay away from Vero Brands/Items you will lose your account sooner than later. If you do decide to sell some cakes you better have a bunch of legitimate items to counter balance it. I would say stay away from any vero or cake. You never know what might happen outside of eBay. But ppl do what they want to do. Good luck.
