Question regarding message from ebay
 

So I have an account I created a month or so ago and it has all new information and I tried to list an item and got a message that I had to confirm identity and failed with the call. They told me they couldn't find me in database blah blah so I left it alone and now a month later I am thinking on selling on it and adding a bank account, I already have a visa VCC attached they are suppose to deposit an amount and I'm suppose to confirm it. I checked my emails and saw I had this one from ebay I never saw. -->Thanks for calling us. Because we weren't able to authenticate you during the call, we thought the information below might help you make sure your account information is up to date... & gave me instructions and such on that email. Will I be able to sell but until I confirm the amount that gets charged on the VCC? I also don't want to waste my time creating a bank account if Its already a hot account in ebays eyes. Btw this account was created before I read the stealth book and before I joined forum but I did use all new info and new ip from my phone internet as I do now so I didn't think it was an issue. The address I use on it is a business address from a dealership I work at so not sure if that's an issue? I do have matching zip code on the VCC to match address

If I'm understanding your post, you can't sell anything. You failed their phone test, so you have no active selling account........what does it say on your may eBay selling page are your limits...0/0 ?

sorry if my English isn't too good.. It doesn't show any 0/0 limit just has the sell an item link. When I made the account a month ago I tried to post an item and it popped up a message about me having to call them to verify myself. I have a feeling if I try to post an item for sale it will say the same thing or even worse. Should I just call and make up some crap to try and maybe get passed this or should I just wait to verify the amount they charge the VCC card on file first? It's been a month since I made the account and called. I think I didn't wait long enough and didn't give it any history of bids or anything maybe?

You aid you already called them and you failed their questions? You must pass their phone verification before they let you sell....so you have 2 choices. 1. Call them and try again. 2. Give up on this account and make another one and try again.

Okay well this is all made up info not me so how I'm I suppose to pass the questions? I thought all they did was send a code to my phone to start selling not call them and answer a bunch of public database questions.. That would fail me no doubt.. So if I have to and erode questions what's the point of making another one if they are going to do the same thing again. What to do? Btw like i said I don't see the point on going through the process of making a bank account just to get shut down because of public database questions.

I don't know what User83 is talking about? But they are WRONG.

Okay so I called ebay they asked again the questions but this time I played the whole foreign not a U.S. citizen sorry and they gave me 10/1000 so that's a start LOL

That's a good start.
Be careful with it and do things properly and those limits will increase in no time.
