I tell em, once I give it to the post office it's outta my control......send them the tracking number and if they have concerns for them to go to the PO...people are morons!

I had that a few over the years. I say do not guarantee to be on time.

Yes, but the post office is already blaming sellers/senders as the problem.

Already been happening to me. So awesome. But, I have a detailed template email to respond to them professionally and let them know the PO is full of liars.

Well, the post office can blame sellers all they want...but if I've got a printed receipt from them showing it what day they took possession of it.......I can throw them under the bus till the cows come home.......I would relish that.........

true, I tell them hopefully it will be there on time unless something unexpected happens with the PO then its really out of my hands

Does your post office not have/give Christmas delivery cut off times for items to reach them by Christmas?

I avoid promising anything for the 24th - if a buyer asks, I literally state not possibly unless heavy shipping fees are exacted

Good thing I dont need to worry about these kinds of questions. Last night was my last selling day for the year.

See you all next year, I'm on vacation.

I also stopped selling a few days ago. Gonna leave it till after new year now. Not worth all the hassle off buyers moaning that they haven't received their item on time even though its only been 1-2 days since the item was posted. Delays are expected at this time of the year, some buyers just don't realise that.

International deliveries have cut off dates.

Brings me to suggestion next year, see if you can avoid selling after a certain date in December.

We are all closed now until after New Year especially for our Northern Hemisphere accounts.

Cliched joke but the weather is too bad and the buyers too stupid to hassle with selling and having damage to DSRs etc.

I make A LOT more money the next week. Kept 66 high dollar items just for this weekend.

I add A LOT of extra and guaranty delivery or shipping fees back! If all 66 sell, I make an extra 10K or so. Most likely wont have to refund any shipping fees but lets say I do, I make a heck of a lot more money still.

Wait what? I just sold a item to someone is AU.. care to elborate on being "closed" till the new years? They haven't made the payment yet but I expect it tomorrow. They don't seem to "need" it by christmas but still ..
