Do you get notified when your limits get reduced?
 

I think my selling limits dropped on one account but I'm not sure.

Do they send you a notification if your limits drop? Or only if they're raised?

Usually, but just go into my eBay and look at upon selling account....it will show you your limits.

you need to check either way.
Iv'e notice that sometimes I get FALSE notifications about account limits dropping.

No notification has ever been given to me.

I think the rest of the posters are missing the fact that I have something like 100 active accounts and I wouldn't notice if one went from 90 to 30.

I am pretty sure you would get a MC999, selling limits have been decreased just the same as if you got a MC999 for selling limit increase. However, they do not always send you notifications. I have had a few accounts get limit increases without notification, so I am sure limit decreases suffer the same.

You usually get an email saying you didnt meet their standards so on and then they lower it.
Just to mention on the getting emails sometimes and them being false cause nothing changes...I actually got an email the other day saying my selling privileges was limited and that I would not be able to sell on ebay anymore but I could continue to buy.
It never happened, I have been able to list new listings for weeks...so I wonder what happened there not that I am complaining!
