Hello,

I got this email from eBay on my stealth account.
What does it mean?

To help you be a successful seller and ensure a safe experience on eBay, we sometimes change limits on accounts. Account limits allow us to learn about your selling activity and to make sure you're adhering to our selling practices policy and performance standards. Limits vary by seller and can change over time.

You can now sell up to items monthly and up to monthly. If you currently have more items (active items for sale and sold items) this month than your limits allow, you should reduce the number of listings you have on the site. Any listings that place you over your current limits may be automatically removed.

It sounds like they reduced the number and dollar volume of items you can sell in any given month.

What are your new limits? Look on your ebay dashboard and it will tell you exactly what your selling limits are.

It's going to affect you account in the obvious way......you will now be allowed to sell X number of items now as opposed to what that number was before this e-mail........just that simple.

My account is now pretty much 'dead'?
Do I need to open new account if I want it run normally?

What does your ebay dashboard say your limits are?

this is not complicated. It will tell you what your limits are. Have you never used ebay before?

Just got that email too. They leave the " sell up to " blank. I don't have time to log into my stealth account right now to check what's up.

It''s the same email whether they reduce your limit or increase it. They normally TELL you what your new limit is going to be in the email. Maybe this is just a glitch.

My friend became a powerseller today, for like an hour...

My next evaluation is "below standards"

I just checked my limits, and they are also the same. Been the same for over a damn year now......

But yeah, my next eval is above standard ( how come there isn't just a standard?!" and the same thing is happening to me, so I doubt it's a warning. Probably just a glitch
