Last I checked, weren't the "limitless" accounts still limited? | Sometimes.
Most sellers with those accounts talk the talk and walk the walk.
Not all would stay limited.

Could someone enlighten me how to increase the limit after passing 1k/100k?
I am stuck at this point for more than a year, tried to push the limit higher, but never worked. Would appreciate if someone may teach me some tips. |
| bluegrass1 | 12-24-2014 11:25 PM | Re: Hard work pays off!!! Beautiful... Have to get close or exceed limits they evaluate every account I think its on the 20th of each month don't quote that but if they see you are doing well shipping fast answering ALL questions and have a very low case rate I don't guess your are selling 100k a month so only way to raise it would be try to hit the 1000 listing per month a few times WITHOUT falling behind on shipping times and make everyone happy really over do it far as customer service goes . Then it will go up . Don't really have to max out every month but sell in the neighborhood but I wouldn't be afraid to hit the max every month as long as things are going well. |

Since when is that a factor, aside from 5 stars for communication. |

Think bluegrass1 means if one was to call into ebay for getting limits raised, it would be required to answer all questions if the rep got nosey.
Motto (for me) dont call in

:juggle: | I highly doubt that's the case. |
| bluegrass1 | 12-25-2014 06:49 PM | Re: Hard work pays off!!! Beautiful... Yep thanks Greenbean that's what I was saying calling is a gamble ,and to get your limits raised you have to come close to the limits set couple times in a row then they will raise the limits long as you are doing well .I have had a account that has has the 10-1000 limits for probably 4 months now but never sold more than a 3-5 items and no where close to hitting the 1k limit and my limits stay the same forever it seems .. This account is just an example of how the limits work but you can get a new account and max out selling 10 items once or twice and your limits will go right up the chart until you stop maxing out then your limits will level off until you get close . I have even had accounts that had a 5000/50,000 limit go down because I got lazy for a few months not selling but a handful of items but I spent most the year in asia so I had an excuse lol |

Sometimes only thing they can rate is item as described. You just have to stay on the ball. Just saying everything I did to get a unlimited account not trying to sound like a know it all. I have even purposely linked and destroyed many account learning what you can and cant get away with.
Come to think of something LOL save the number and ext next time you have to do a call in on a new account when they freeze it ask for number incase disconnected THEN LATER ON I got a different account suspended for 30 days It was my fault I was PO at myself I called this saved number to the reinstatement dept for new accounts these people are like a robot I said I was suspended don't know why He asked blah blah same as always do you have the item in possession can you ship right away same as listening to a record them bam reinstated and even raised my limits Just saying :pound: |

:boink: | I still highly doubt that's the case. He never even talked about calling in. He put " answering all questions" in the context of what to do with selling, and in between two things that also had nothing to do with calling in. But hey lol
Maybe I'm just nit picking here, but does this sound like he's talking about calling in? Quote:
doing well shipping fast answering ALL questions and have a very low case rate

When you can't rate it, that means that they didn't talk to you, so obviously there wouldn't be communication to rate, just as shipping on time means shipping time can't be rated, and free shipping means shipping cost can't be rated.
THO, I've been able to leave stars for most of those things on things I've bought, even tho they were shipped on time, free shipping AND I never messaged the person once. Ebay is wonky. |

| livelifewild | 12-29-2014 06:59 PM | Re: Hard work pays off!!! Beautiful... I got to ask! Yankee and imboxsy...what in the world do you sell!
Half a million, and a million so on
I am just so freaking curious. Obviously not asking the exact specifics but GEEZZ
You two are my heroes lol |
| wtfebay | 12-29-2014 09:13 PM | Re: Hard work pays off!!! Beautiful... This happened to me the other day actually, except with 1000/25,000. I did a couple things differently....listed one item for $9 and 2 hours later, ebay got permanently banned. Probably because I had JUST created the ebay and posted for sale immediately after - instead of browsing, clicking, blah blah. I was a wee bit upset...excitement got the best of me I suppose |
