Stealth Account Monthly Sales?
 

Curious what kind of numbers people are doing with their ebay stealth accounts per month and what their average sale price is?

For example, I am looking to get back in the $10-20 k a month category with our average item selling for around $15.

Is this possible with a stealth account or would ebay likely catch on at that point because they would pay more attention?

Not possible unless you add a Tax ID to your PayPal. PayPal is strict with the either or 200 payments received or $20k. Running stealth accounts without tax ID's especially for item under $50ish is hard now.

That rate is quite high for one account - make a few stealth accounts and SPREAD

Theoretically it is possible but not advisable.
Youre putting way too many eggs into one single basket. If that accounts gets taken down you lose a lot. Not to mention theres the EIN youll need to add to the account.
Instead you should spread your sales across multiple accounts. Much safer way of doing thing.

Mix it up.
Grow some big accounts and add an EIN only if you think it will last years and you have thousands of the same identical items.

Spread sales over many many many accounts. Learn to maximize your accounts $$$ wise or Unit wise and flip through them. It is not very hard to sell 100 items in a week and move onto the next stealth account. If you get creative you can sell 1000 small items in lots on a 100 piece account all in a single week. Of course your items must be in demand and profitable.

If you source higher dollar items it is incredibly easy to sell 10-20+K in a week on a stealth account. Run ten of them a week and you are moving some serious product. More than most people with a 5000-50K account can and 10x less risky.

Eliminate as much risk as possible by running as many accounts as needed. Maybe you need 10 or 100 or 500 etc..

Just like everybody said..........divide that money by more accounts........there are soon many advantages to having more accounts than 1 ....

Like everybody said and will soon reach IRS reporting limits for paperwork required.

And have a plan for bank accounts if you're going to use 20+ accounts as you probably will need some under businesses or LLC to get to a high number of them

No.....I have just under 40 personal checking accounts....no biz accounts...

That's a lot under 1 name, how many different banks and how many on average on each one?

I agree that is a lot. Personally I have been rolling stealth since 08. I use three banks. I have one checking and two savings at each one. It does require keeping some funds tied up to avoid bank fees for each account. But at-least I get to sell!!!!!!!

I have 5 accounts at a couple of banks, then a 4 and the rest are 3 or 3.

About half of those accounts have free checking, so that helps a lot....but even if they weren't...$12 a month is pretty cheap to be able to have an account to sell stuff with......

Yeah $12 is nothing. I also have savings accounts too so including those I try to keep it at 4 at each bank max. Those do keep money tied up with only 6 withdraws but help to get more checkings at the same bank since they see a pair as linked. I have some credit union ones too that are free
