About to dive in and make a new account!
 

This is my first time making a stealth account well i plan on making 2. I have read the book 2 times now and think i'm ready.

What I have:

1. names, using my sisters name and using a made up name.
2. phones, ill be using google voice for this.
3. ip's, ill be using my phone tethering for new ip's. (im tracking every ip so I don't double up on ip's)
4. I have seperate users for each of these accounts.
5. checking, i have 2 new checking accounts with 2 different banks
6. Credit card, I have 2 vanilla visa cards.
7. addresses, I have 2 local houses that are empty that I may use. Not sure yet if its a good idea since they are 1 house apart.

Just a couple of questions:

how much should i sell per week/per month? I know to start slow but how slow. I have a lot of laptops,graphics cards, graphing calc's, and go pros I have been piling up they range from $80-250 in pricing... what i would list them for. Is that too much too soon? or start really small like $30-40 items, which i really don't have any thing that low.

Is there anything else I should know in addition to the book that can make me successful and not get limited? I been reading a lot and doing a lot of PM'ing to make sure I don't mess this up.

Thanks a lot guys, I lost $2k to paypal on my real account. That is a lot to me since I make that probably in a month working my normal job.

First off...why your sisters name?? Stealth, is stealth....and are you a girl?...make the name same sex as you are.

2nd, the stuff you are going to start is high risk and not good for a new account at all.

And yes, selling items that are A. high risk and B hundreds of dollars......not the best scenario.

I want to use my sisters name because If need be I can verify all her info if needed ssn, drivers license, address. I am a guy, but my girlfriend can make calls if needed.

what would be recommended I sell to get going?

It is STRONGLY encouraged to never use friends or family or even a real persons info of any kind.

You can either sell under the radar to avoid the dreaded SSN requirement. To do that, make many stealth accounts and spread out your sales so that not one account will get close to the 200/$20,000 mark. Never use a family member name especially something as important as a SSN. If somehow Paypal request a SSN or tax ID, apply for an EIN.

Terrible idea....for more reasons than I have time to type.......but here'a a start.......

This isn't a stealth account...you're just making an account for your sister.......then if it gets banned...your sister is screwed using eBay FOREVER.....how does that sound??


If a stealth account goes down...NO ONE gets slammed.......which sounds like a better result?

ok I won't use my sisters name, why was it recommended in the guide? or is that old news? what about the addresses? they are close together.

empty house addresses are good. I would find another that is not adjacent. If your items on each account are going to be the same, I would consider another post code address.

Yes, old outdated details. Almost never ends well when you use someone else s info. Best case scenario is they get a tax burden from a 1099K Worst case scenario you loose a friend and your business.

Use a tracphone cheap prepaid phone and not google voice

There is a seller here that has them cheap. Sometimes you can get them for a couple dollars and regularly less than $20.00

I often use ups store address. This is in case if a buyer want to return an item.
