Looking for transactions to cancel?

I have a BIN listing that has over 1000 buyers... When someone needs to return an item, is there an easier way to look up their transaction for a cancel and refund?

When I type the item id# to cancel it I have to sift through hundreds of transactions before finding the one I am looking for...ther emust be an easier way to do this?

I usually just place the buyers list at the maximum amount per page then hit ctrl+F and put in the persons user name. less pages.... Sorry that this isnt a real solution

You can login to the email address and type the user id and trace it that way also.
If you tend not to open the emails from ebay due to web beacons then at least you can see the date and trace it back to order history.

Re: Looking for transactions to cancel?

I had to refund a buyer who purchased an item on dec 9th today, this particular listing I get about 40-50 buyers a day on. I type int he ebay item# under cancel transaction in the buyer resolution page and it brings up every transaction that was made on that ebay item# and it only shows the max 12 per page.

BigCJ, I dont think we go on the same page when cancelling a transaction..where do you go?

You guys don't use Selling Manager? So easy to filter by username, email, date etc

I use ink frog. It's as simple as typing the first few letters of the buyer username and boom! Results

you can cancel transactions in inkfrog?

I can find transactions easily in selling manager...cancelling them for refunds is what takes forever to find.

How else can you cancel a transaction without going through the resolution center area, selecting the option, then manually entering the number

Yeah cancel transaction don't show up in selling manager, but it shows as an option for each order on the sold section in the "Sell" page under Activity tab. Look for it

The cancel option goes away after payment has been made. I am trying to cancel transactions that have been returned to me for refunds.

I can cancel any of my transactions even after payment. But have heard before that the cancel option goes away, not sure why though, I thought it was a glitch.
