I haven't been able to afford to buy the book yet, maybe next week. I should have more money coming from Amazon and less bills to pay :juggle: I'm trying to figure out everything I will need. I already knew I had to clean out my computer and I can have my son dump the hard drive for me, that's the easy part. I have to form an LLC to use to verify my identity with paypal and a checking account with a non brick and mortar online bank. I plan to use an address from a state I don't live in to do this with an out of state address and have the mail forwarded from that address (that will work right?). I know that I have to change my Ip address The type of router I have allows me to do this (my son is a hacker).

Questions and concerns: Will ebay track my new IP to the state I currently live in, see me selling similar items to my closed account and shut it down that way? I'm sure there is a way to bounce around my IP, I just have to ask my son but I want to know if its even necessary.

Can I use the address of a relative in Ohio (mother in law) and open up an LLC with that address in say New Mexico (cheaper filing fees for an LLC than Ohio).

I recently read that Paypal does Geotracking when you access an account wit h your phone so they know where you are and that's something I will want to avoid too, right? That's going to suck, I loved being able to pull up my balance when I was in a store somewhere and see what I could spend. Oh the good old days when I didn't have to act like this :spy:

Not advisable to use family info at all whether it be names or addresses

Yes my son is a hacker, he's currently has a nice legal job as the head of technology at a publishing company, but I'm not using family information. I was going to use my mother in law's Ohio address so I wouldn't have to worry about mail forwarding but I don't have to do that. I assumed a P.O box was a red flag. I also thought if ebay tracked my IP to Arkansas when my store says I live in New Mexico it would also be a red flag.

The ip's i will have to leave for someone else.as im not experiwnced in that at all when involving different countries.

Mother in laws address would be a problem if you got limited as she would never be able to be an ebay member in her details ever.
Check out rentable mailboxes. Saves any hassle in the long.term

Clean ip is a primary issue, area of ip is not same state is preferable but not required

Ok so you guys just use a fresh IP address, a p.o box, an LLC, and a track phone?
