how do i get access to this account?
 

i have an old account from a long time ago. i know the user name, the zip code, and i have access to the email address that is linked to it. how do i get the password? unfortunately ebays password thing asks for zip code, date of birth, name of pet, and phone number. i dont remember any of that except zip code.

you should try calling customer support to see if they can help you ..

i dont want to contact customer service because i am afraid they will ask date of birth and i dont know it and thats pretty suspicious.

In this care you are better off creating another one, once you loose the password you will basically need every info you have that you have entered on ebay and anything missing is going to be a problem since the way they do it is that they will ask you two questions about your acct. The secret question and one other question by random. At this point it's as good as gone.

this raises an interesting question, will they suspend you if you create a new legit account but have an existing non-suspended account?

I would have to say I would definatly create another account because ebay thinks you should know everything on the account since it is supposed to be Quote "you".
