Creating Listings on Aged Ebay Account

Hi Everyone,

I have a question that i can't find here on the forum.

I purchased a 60+ Aged 100/$5000 ebay account, I am waiting till Monday to confirm my bank account with Paypal.

I am wanting to go ahead and start creating listings but not listing them for sell. mostly shoes, boxed book sets, and mugs, would ebay get suspicious for just creating listings?

once my bank account is confirmed on Monday i will list all the listings i created for sell.

Have you been active on the account or has it just been lying dormant? If it's just been dormant and you go straight to listing things, you may end up with a suspension. I would show some activity before hand

How long have you had the account up to this point? If you have been holding onto it for a while without doing any browsing of ebay, then you need to do some of that before you start to list anything, remember you want them to think you are a newbie who is browsing around to see how the platform works, what other people sell, how much they charge, if you list straight away you can give the impression of being someone who has experience of ebay and is coming back to it now, which could make them ask you would be doing that, maybe because you had been suspended previously, if they do start to think that they will just suspend you again!

An aged account will little activity should be treat like a brand new.account.
Storing.your listings but not making them live is.good. Get some browsing history and go slow.
The items you want to.sell.seem fine. Are they new. Always best to.start off with used to.begin with. Earn ebays trust. I myself have been selling.used for about two months now and have just started to introduce some new things.
Good luck :-)

Agree with this - I usually do 2-4 weeks of browse/bid activity before sales...and sales should be low risk like what you are selling OP (or planning to sell) seems ok

and a few Book Sets that are Brand new, but are worth $130 with shipping and all, would these be ok items to sell right away?

I always recommend your first listing be something like a random book like $30 or less, that way if you have to do the standard MC999 call then it makes it really easy like, "yep i just listed a book i had around the house thats it"

Just makes life easier, in case you have to call etc

Are the book sets uber popular? Trade brands like Disney or so?
