buyer who left 45% negative feed backs
 

I sold an item on Ebay tonight and check on the buyers feed back score : feed back 340 , feed back left for others : positive 11 , negative 9

what should I do , this looks like a trouble to me .

Unfortunately there are many people out there that like to complain and there lives wouldnt be complete without doing so.
Unless all his 9 purchases were indeed all horrible. Who knows

If it were me I would ship his item out 2 day priority mail right away with tracking, then block his id from buying from you again... and hope for the best...

I put "Free Gifts" in ALL my customers packages anyway..

But for someone like this I double up or give higher priced free gifts hoping to elicit a favorable rating.

A nice note included in the package helps too. :)

what should you do? send out his package as soon as you can. send him the tracking number. what else can you do? if you try to cancel the transaction because you don't like his feedback, then for sure he will leave you negative feedback. Handle the transaction as you would any other one, but make sure to follow up with the tracking info.

What should you do? Kiss his A** thru the transaction, then when it's all done, Block his A**.

Nothing you can do. I had one of those buyers recently. Those are the buyers that are out for free stuff. They buy then give you negative and wait for you to say "please change the feedback and you can keep the item for free". I see more and more of those popup lately. Must be the time of the year :)

From the high feedback he has I would say the guy doesnt leave a lot of feedback. It would seem he leaves it in case he either had a very positive experience or a very negative one. Hence the 11 positive and 9 negative - instead of 170 and 170 split for all his transactions.
Treat him delicately and you should be fine.

You cant make all people happy but i believe if you provide consistent quick shipping well packaged, well described items, great communication and a little flexibility. Your feedback will show that and so will your dsr's

SaiJin.......yes it does.......but it either what I said or take a neg, which he'll just do again to the next guy.....no win situation really...block him and go one.....

Ive recently ran into a few idiots that leave neutral and 1 star for item as described. All because it "wasnt what I thought" when there are clear pictures and descriptions. The thing is they didnt even contact me beforehand...I would have easily refunded them and gone along my way.

Yes crazy if you buy something and you dont like it and you want to leave negatives on it, you dont contact the seller that is crazy people are scared i guess

when I first started selling on ebay years ago I used to be paranoid about getting neg feedback. after the first one I was gutted, but after about 30 minutes of self reflection I moved on. it happens once in a while, but its just part of doing business. no matter what line of work you are in, there will always be someone who is unhappy about something.

I used to work for a boss who was upset because I only said "hi" to him in the morning, while my colleagues I would say "good morning" to.

Thank you for all your answers. I have sent out the item the very next day and let's just hope for the best .

I come across quite a few bad buyers since after Xmas, is this a bad month ? :noidea:
