selling limits new sellers

Hi everyone! So i wanted to sell this one valueable item trought ebay account which i ussualy use for buying. I have about 50 good feedbacks and my limit is 500$or 10item per month. So i have been selling my item with starting price 100$ and reserve price at 2000$. My item got only 1600$on auction and now when i am trying to make second chance offer to the highest bidder it says that i reached max monthly limit. Now i have to pay 50$fee. Does anybody know when can i relist item? It is confusing because i red somewhere that you need to wait 90days and when i am trying to relist it says just that i reached max Monthly limit. Does that mean i can relist next month ?:ballchain::violin::noidea:

You are asking for trouble by selling something worth $1600 on your first sale on eBay. Huge risk, and PayPal most likely will place the 180 day hold on your money. Be careful.

And to answer your question - those are monthly limits so they will reset on the 1st of next month.
And I agree - bad idea to sell such an item as your very first sale. You might be able to do so but you run the risk of the funds you receive being frozen in a limited paypal for 180 days - not to mention tempting the buyer to reverse those funds by filing a dispute once they realize youre in trouble. Risky all around.

Very very risky strategy, yet another new seller who should have checked out this forum first! Op is this a stealth account or your real account? If it is stealth you should have known better from your visits on here, if it is your real account you must be realising now that you made a huge mistake listing for sale such a high value item that took you up to listing limit for the month straight away, you could well find that you cannot even withdraw any of the funds from the sale for anything up to 180 days! Your account will probably now be suspended so that you cannot list anything else, and once your suspended that is it your account is gone.

I did everithing legitimate. My account is real and i have payed my ebay fees. And i have no plans to be selling on ebay further more. I only want to sell that item. And about pay pal,it is different for me because paypal is linked to my debit card in my countrie and it is not the same as usa accounts,at least i think so.Till now i have only send money trought paypal.:noidea: I also put american express and visa payments as option. I am appriciating your answers. Please give me some more informations about paypal. It is not problem for me to wait to withdrowe money.

Are you from Honduras? Don't think we have had anyone else from there on the forum so good to hear from you, what sort of info are actually looking for about paypal?

No,i am from Croatia (you know Dubrovnik,Game of thrones)
Now i am worried about replyes above about pay pal will froze my money for so long and that selling my item is risky, someone even wrote that ebay could suspend me,and i don t get why would that happen. As i wrote,i did everything legitimate and i am just planing to sell that one item which is antiquety and it is worth between 3000-6000$ but i will sell it on auction with reserve price of 1500$.
