How many days do you wait to list something after creating an account?
And what's the point of it? What's your reason to age the account before listing the first item?

You should wait at least 5 days.

At first, I listed immediately. Then I stared to wait weeks to a month. Now I am listing immediately again with no issue. What you are listing also has a part in this too.

general census is 30 days helps to not get the mc999 date-base questions but it seems to be what you are listing more that anything.

Yes you need to list items that have no risk attached to them such as few things from around your home, not mobile phones or tech items that are considered high risk as they are counterfeited regularly, look online as well to find some ways of buying low risk things, even buy some things from local shops, dollar stores would be good for you to have a look in, they sell things that look like you can sell online for a bit of a profit, which is all you need to do for the first 2-3 months while you are building some feedback on your account fir shipping out quickly, good packaging, and replying promptly to any messages you may get from buyers

You got to wait for a week to see if there is problem on the account of if they flag it out.

I prefer browsing and bidding for 2-4 weeks prior to listing - not a set rule but my own experience

I try to wait at least 2 weeks...I list 1 or 2 items then let the account rest for 2-3 weeks...then I resume listing and usually get a pretty decent 1st raise right after that.

I wait 2 days. If I list immediate after creating a new account I almost always get the call within 48 hours or we will suspend you message.

I list the same day I create the account. The key is to list extremely LOW RISK items. I buy $1 items from Dollar General to list.

I usually list items within a week of opening my account. I list a bunch of low valued merchandise for the first month, then I will gradually work my way up to more expensive items.

Your going to have to find a time period your comfortable with.....90% of the forum members have tested/played with time-tables that they are comfortable with. That being said, you don't want to list a Gucci Handbag 2-3 days in, but if you have some non-Vero items which are safe then perhaps a week or two.

So, why should you care? because it's up to you to run your accounts safely as possible.

How the account is created is also important.

I always sell with a fully verified & confirmed paypal even for USA account. I browse, surf, fiddle & bid on items I hope never to win. I create a history.

I used adhere strictly to 30 days. In recent months, I have varied up the timing for the 1st listing.

This works OK for me.

great point by MM78, use your common sense, if you must sell straight away don't sell high end items or possible counterfeits.

I list straight away, but I let ebay guide me as if I am a new seller.

I love looking, watching, and bidding on stuff for at least the first week before selling anything.
