Will 25 be my limit for ever!
I recently called eBay because I listed my first item in one of my account sand got the famous mcxxx code. I had the pleasure to speak to someone who couldn't find me in the database but informed me that she was going to give me a 25 limit account. She further explained that I needed to confirm my identify if I wanted more items. She said she was going to send me an email on how to confirm my identify, which was received immediately. Will 25 be my limit or will this account or will the grow gradually without showing identity?

It will grow gradually over time if you do things right.

I remember reading in here that if you call in for limit increases and they give you 25 items, then you will not get anymore increases naturally. I have no experience with this, but I definitely remember reading it in here about 6 months ago or less.

I have never had a 25 items account, but any account that I have worked has always gotten a limit increase to at least 100/5000

To my understanding a rep set limit rarely has natural limit increases.

I had several accounts that were set at those limits initially and then increased naturally.

Ditto......I've never had a 25, but I've had plenty of 10's......that reps gave me, and they increased........just do everything right and good things will happen.

So the advice clearly seems to be there are no hard and fast rules with this one, like so many things to do with ebay/PayPal, you are advised to sell up to your limits every month and see what happens, meanwhile make more stealth accounts so that you are ready for if the increases don't come on your 25 limit one, you have others that you can sell on to bring in extra funds for you, and that advice is always the recommended way forward anyway, even if increases in limits do come, accounts can be limited or suspended at any time, just make sure there are no links between any new accounts you make, or buy off here, so that if any one account goes down it does not take all your others with it!

Grow the account slowly - build other accounts and rotate sales
