change ebay registered address
 

When I created my stealth account I used a real address but it was not an address I had access to. As business grew I got a P.O. Box. Ebay's new return process automatically sends buyers the address I do not have access to so I can't receive returned packages. Is it ok to change my ebay registered address to my po box address or does ebay look at this as suspicious?

I would not be afraid to do that......people move, stuff changes.

I wouldn't worry about changing the address.

But this also spikes the question... Are address's really a big factor when linking accounts? People move.. all the time. When I was living with my family we moved 11 times in 18 years. Crazy! I'm sure most of those addresses I lived at had registered eBay accounts with that information. And I'm sure at one point or another my parents' accounts had the same address as others (if they didn't update them right away). Any thoughts?

Ebay is run by bots. If they link a address to a banned address you will be suspended. This is why sometimes a account can get automatic 100/5000 upon creation because sometimes it can get linked to another account.

The same thing goes with phone numbers. You'd think that wouldn't be the case BUT because ebay is run by bots it has EVERYTHING to do with linking.

So the main reason why people get 100/5000 is because they use REAL addresses that have been previously been in the system?

BIG BIG factor in linking accounts.

Please stay away from that concept.

Learn to operate as a new stealth you with a safe address.

Avoid using old linked info. That defeats the purpose of stealth.

Oh of course. After all the stories I've read on these forums I will most definitely only use new info.

My po box address has never been used on another stealth account. So I should be fine to change the address?

There a plenty other methods that are used, that was just a example.
