Whats the difference between POWER SELLER & TOP RATED SELLER
 

Can someone explain what the difference between a Power Seller and a Top Rated Seller? Most of my accounts are top rated seller, however, I just received a Power Seller status on one of my most recent account.

Can someone fill the confusion void?

Power Seller has to do with amount of $$ sold.

TRS has to do with all the stuff like DSR'S. defect rate etc.......that's the quick answer....customer service stuff.

I never had a power seller account.

Has anyone noticed a difference with ebay and how they treat your account once you achieve "power seller status"?

My highest level Powerseller got the boot 18 months ago for one too many cases opened (all INAD on old collectibles) .......5 in 12 months,.....they don't give a S**T what or who you are when it comes to that stuff!

0 seller loyalty.

Powerseller gets no discount and top rated seller gets discount on fees. Also you get the top rated seller icon in the search results which many buyers look for. I lost top rated seller status because I didn't upload tracking numbers on all my listings quick enough.

There used to be lots of Benefits with TRS accounts with discounts and eBay not looking so closely and letting things slide, but that is all gone now

My Sales are much higher on Accounts under 90 Days, once they get that 90 day Mark TRS or not sales just drop drastic because if there manipulation with traffic and listing visibility

Now I just keep rotating and use newer accounts under 90 days, and the last 5 days have been great, the group of accounts I'm selling on all around 1 month as seller accounts have been not getting Holds, so I'm getting the increased sales of a Newer account and Instant Payment of an aged one

Not sure if this will last with the payments coming instant but everything is great now

If anything more pressure for the seller to keep the account buoyant.

Never had a desire to be either......as long as I sell all my stock....It's all good.

All those answers I could have assumed myself.

When I use to have a powerseller account buyers could not leave a Negative feedbacl till after 7 days. That was a huge benefit; it gave you time to fix problematic transactions.

Do you still get the power seller icon as well as the top rated seller icons?
