lost excel ip tracking spreadsheet (flashdrive)
 

Ok I'm almost 90% sure I lost my hard drive that contained basically EVERYTHING I had via ebay.

I still think it will turn up because I can't even comprehend how I lost it.

Beyond everything else I lost...

The thing I'm worried is I lost the IP tracker that logged all IPs I've used.

Anyone know what this might mean for me?

Ummmmmmmm.well the obvious issue you are going to have is different IP's logging into your account(s) and the possibility of them getting linked and suspended as a result, since you will not know which IP used which account

You should just buy a new dongle. I mean, you can't risk using the IP block you were using before, so get a fresh dongle with a fresh IP block. :)

The information will still be on your drive you just need to recover it.

Well I was using my Iphone to tether.

Suppose I could have answered that myself....

That did it...you are fired!

I have always been afraid losing mine. Fortunately it hasn't happened. Now, if i was to lose mine, I would not be too concerned because I have never had a repeating IP address. So far my log is up to 1900 IP addresses. So I am confident that my record of non-repeating IP addresses will continue. I do not know how many IP addresses your tethering provides you with nor how often you get a repeat.

Simplest thing to do if you cannot get the spreadsheet back would be do get in a new ISP that way you will not get any repeated IP addresses

Not sure how exactly you lost the files, but if they may have been accidentally deleted from your flashdrive, I always used 'UndeleteMyFiles Pro' when it happened to me several times in the past.
Has gotten my files back everytime so far *knock on wood*.

Used to be free, not sure if it still is. I have version 3.1 though.

You know... Its my fault for not backing it up on my computer and another hard drive.

I just don't understand where the hell it went. It stays with my laptop at all times and I'm typing on my laptop lol.....urgh.

I use to get alot of repeats. I mean not alot but enough to be concerned. I used to log in to each account way more frequently but now since I used inkfrog I don't log in nearly as frequently.

I live in NYC so the pool of IP'S should be alot? The other thing is all my IP's started with 70.208, but now are 70.199 and these IP's are WAY less frequent in repeats. I also know one or two repeats won't kill my accounts...

I mean technically it can but ALL my accounts ALWAYS got/get a fresh IP with each log in, its not like they got/get repeated log ins with the same IP, therefore shouldn't techincally create a concrete link.

I just have to get some newer back up accounts going just in case.

What hurts is I lost my excel spreadsheet with all my backups on shipping labels, my INVENTORY spreadsheet *urgh* ...

I already bought a energy drink, looks like I'll be up all night.

I lost my flashdrive that had all my files stored on it.

The files weren't backupd on my laptop....why I don't know.

Ohhh haha you lost the whole flash drive.. I thought you meant the files themselves lol. :doh: I swear they should put gps trackers on those things.
