Ebay Watching Item Before Indexing

First time I have encountered this so I am wondering if anyone else has seen this or not...

Went to list an item and usually it takes 8-12 hours to index...that is normal for me usually. It will show as 3 "people" viewing the item during that time. Usually it shows 2-3 views immediately.

But now under one of my items that I just listed, it shows the usual 3 views but ALSO 1 "watcher". The listing does not show up in the search, as it is not indexed yet....so it is most definitely ebay "watching". Strange.

Has anyone else noticed this before?

Remember something similar to this would show a watcher when looking at selling account but when went to the main ebay listing no watcher there, never got to know what that was about, that was quite a while before that account got suspended

I'm not worried about it...just wondering if it is a precursor to them giving an MC999 and ending the listing or if it is just some random "thing".

No you most likely have nothing to worry about.

I've had this happen on newer accounts where it always took 12 hours to show up in the search.

For whatever reason some listings buyers are able to search for. If you copy and paste your listing title you won't see anything....but if you use a few of the keywords and go threw categories in a certain order you see it?

Hence how glitchy and sporadic ebay is.

You would get a mc999, they would never bother "watching". Remember mc999 are auto generated from bots 99% of the time.

We always chalk it up to ebay being glitchy and random, but something just feels a bit "off". Meh...guess i will take it as it comes if something should happen!

Proper approach - Can't always be worrying about what MAY happen...
