Returned items could be kept and god forbid if something did come from ebay and they phoned them up, that account would be toast.
Your idea, in theory, you could get away with possibly once, but in the long term, you couldnt.
These days, you really do need an accessible address. |

How would you explain that. Same street, couple of doors away....might work.
A couple of streets away...hmmmmm how could you explain that to them? |

First off the house had a for sale sign in front and looked vacant , Ebay, or paypal will send mail to the address on file ? No !!! when have we ever received anything from ebay or paypal in the mail. maybe a paypal business debit card. Random mailing, The residents of house would just toss out.
I don't accept returns on my items and if returns are necessary ill just give my parents address to ship to.
I have been shipping some items from the address on file, meaning using paypal lables, I prefer to send the packages from my real address with my real name sort of sloppily written down , I picked a name very similar with letters , to my own. So far no one has commented why the address is different from the one thay saw
The thing is , the address which needs to be in your area, was chosen just because I had to get my account set up, and PO box seemed to be unuseable because when you sign up for a account it says no po box.
I look over to the address I used and noticed people were there. so I immediately got concerned.
Im not going to open a business account. that would just complicate things
Thanks all for your comments |

Not sensible. You have no way of knowing what the neighbors might do.
These are the stealth situations you avoid if you have sense.

Thanks all for your comments | Eb and pp can send mail in the post. Ive had an identity check of a property to qhich eb sent a code to the address listed on eb. Luckily i had access to that code. It CAN happen.
Many companies offering po boxes can be adapted. So, po box 12 could be flat 12, room 12, 12 on its own, suite 12 etc...
Hope this helps :-) |

Opening a stealth PayPal account you simply use any address you desire (stick to new housing developments) and once that is fine and dandy never get anything delivered there (obviously)
If you expect returns and also looking to purchase from said account and need items to be delivered to you then get a simple PO Box and instruct buyers to use PO Box address for returns. |

It's just not needed for all accounts unless you have lots of returns on those accounts. You can use just 1 PO Box for many accounts in the return address label (never adding it to any ebay) and just instruct buyers to return to address in package or send then return labels with it off of ebay | if you put it that way...im guessing you really don't need to pay for any PO boxes...just use your neighbor address as a ship from address..and incase if there's a return, just send them a prepaid label with your address. i might do that for items under $50. Funny if these addresses get get suspended/limited... the whole area will be under ebay radar. |

I understand what you are saying, believe me i do.
But that COULD happen. Perhaps unlikely, but could happen.
If that happens, yes you can scrap account and make a new one. But youd be rather.gutted if that particular account was a good one with high limits...Then lost in an instance as you.dont have it accessible to you
