Is it Halloween already?....

it is nice and professional.

I prefer simplicity so I like the old one lol.

Plus I hate when everything is narrow and vertical.

I liked the blue and white but this is a nice change of pace. The orange is growing on me already. The only problem I had was the text being too light like I mentioned before but it's better now. Yeah the title bar and colors do have a bit of a Halloween vibe but it's distinctive and catches your eye, plus it's almost that time of year anyway and let's face it, the Bay is kinda scary ;) I say keep it for now. Maybe you can add lights and tinsel for the holidays? That'd be a hoot to change for the major holidays like Google. Work yes, but a hoot. :)

Aspkin, how do you make the text narrow and vertical? I think the sidebar to the left leaves a lot of dead space but it's not too bad. Still I'd like to know because when I list in Google Base or some other online sites, I keep ending up with a narrow, vertical look to the text any time I add a picture of the item. I know it's got to be the formatting, but I have no idea how to prevent it.

And yes it's a little with Halloween I guess. Maybe if I tweaked the logo up top it would look less like Halloween and maybe more like eBay? Muhahaa. Do I dare?

EBay probably wouldn't like that.

Overall I think it's decent. With this style I got one for free, so I can choose another from the URL above if I wanted.

I sidebar is just about empty for now, but I wanted to eventually add links to hot threads, more information on eBay, maybe friendly linking partners, and what not.

Let's see what happen.

Can you move the sidebar to the opposite side of the page. Its flipping me out. I hate narrow vertical websites, even more so when the sidebar is on the left of the page and not the right. Quick! Im signing out, it's killing me lol.

I have an allergic reaction to right sidebars...seriously! Well maybe not :p But I don't like 'em! Your eyes naturally read left to right. Let's not upset the natural balance of the universe here! ;) I'm starting to like the logo as is. It's a little Halloweenie, but who cares. It's distinct. :)

Thats why I want the sidebar on the right because I read left to right. Content should be on the left, and sidebar should be on the right. I don't like the whole having to shift my eyes to the right to read.

Okay, we'll I'll look for something different. It was just a test.

I got rid of the left bar, is that better? I really like the design of the forum, and I couldn't find anything better so... if you guys like it, it'll stay. I can try to tone down the orange color as well if you guys really want me to. It'll take some time becaues of all the images using it, but I sure it can be done.

Yeah, looks better without the sidebar I admit. I'm starting to really like the orange. It's an attention getter and wakes you up in the morning. But if you must change it, don't go for brown or that horrible puce green they have for offer. Blech.

Bah! Okay I went back to the old design. After awhile, I didn't like the orange one much. I guess I'll keep this one... and find a nice logo for it.

Now i like the other burnt orange one. This one looks ugly now. A nice red would had went well instead of the orange

with the bright orange color, my co-worker walks by may think i am in some kind of shopping network or spooky website.:cool:

Compared to the other one I would have to say plain. Kind of looks like a Dino-Forum

honestly I think the basic vbulletin theme is fine. It's not like this is some sort of site built to attract in a large consumer base or something. Not like the typical myspace user comes here or even needs to come here where an extra attractive site would help.

LoL, and here I thought it was just that IE saved the old format (firefox is getting a tuneup). Ah well, roll with the changes....

Yeah, that's me. I change things so much with my other websites, its crazy. You guys are lucky I haven't really touched the forum until now.

Not to be crabby (hey it's a Monday) but am I the only one missing the orange now?

Now that that's off my chest, the new logo is nice and sorta "ebayish" but the mirror effect is a definate eye strainer. Any chance that can be cleaned up?

Ah yes, well it's not an exact eBay logo, but if they say anything about it I can change it with no problem. I don't like it much anyways. I might change it a bit more.

It's not a bad logo, just the ghost effect that's bugging me. I feel like I've had a bit too much to drink...on a Monday. :p

Just for the record Aspkin, in case you're still taking requests or undecided, here's one vote for the little avatar in the corner of the title. It drew away from some of the blurriness. It's Tuesday and I'm still drunk ;) Doesn't have to be the same one, anything would help. :)

Hey Aspkin, why dont you make each word a diifferent color. Instead of each letter like Ebay's
