I got same problem, but the ebook said ,you can use the Canadians Paypal account , they don't want to provide a SSN, and can link a US bank account.
but I am not make sure, someone help that,thanls

Your questions has two answers.

ebay could well ask for ID info with that amount if transactions.

Just to clarify do you really mean will paypal ask for tax info.

There is a major difference.

ebay, will never ask you for SSN......paypal does, and if your scenario took place unless than 12 months, yes they would.

200/20k why do people not understand this you can sell 10000 items but if you did not go over 20k then ssn won't be asked for. you can sell 1 million and 100 items no SSN will be asked for. VICE VERSA.

Absolutely WRONG! They can and will ask for SSN / EIN based on PROJECTED sales. If you get close to 200 transactions, you will be asked. If you get close to $20k, you will be asked. If you DO NOT SURPASS 200 transactions AND $20k in sales, they will NOT send you a 1099 form at the end of the year.

Yup. The first year after the law you could sell over 200 if you were under 20k. The last 2 years it has been getting close to either threshold.

Yup, there was a period of grace where paypal was kinder. But now it is game on to comply with the regulations.

PP can limit based on PROJECTED rate. OP, recommend you make more than 1 stealth account and rotate sales to find a good rate that suits your purposes.
