Hello ___________,
After reviewing your eBay account, recent activity has raised serious security concerns. As a result, we've taken the following action on your account:
- Your eBay account has been suspended indefinitely.
- Item listings have been removed. A list of removed items is available further down in this email.
You won't be able to use eBay in any way. This includes using another existing account or registering a new account. Any outstanding selling fees are due immediately, and any amounts that you haven't previously disputed will be charged to the billing method currently on file.
We've taken this precaution to protect our members while we make sure that the activity doesn't cause harm -- however unintentionally -- to the eBay community.
Here are the listings we removed:
We appreciate your understanding.
Thanks,
eBay

can somebody help me.. | Youve gone about this all wrong.
You really need to read the stealth guide.
Dont use other peoples names.
Bad move to list straight away on a new account and certainly not dvds.
Stealth is a slow process to begin with. Search the forums and as said the stealth guide. It will be of huge help to you and will guide you throught the whole process of setting up a brand new accoubt and how to operate it :-) |
| GreenBean | 01-25-2015 05:49 PM | Re: Hello guys, can somebody help me please. Help is sure needed.
Never list a fitness DVD .
Never list a fitness DVD.
I hope your brother likes his name being rubbished so quickly on ebay.
Any reasons you used this method?
:faint: |
| pokerpro | 01-25-2015 06:01 PM | Re: Hello guys, can somebody help me please. You need to start from scratch.......FIRST step, get the stealth guide. |
| RosieTosie | 01-25-2015 06:25 PM | Re: Hello guys, can somebody help me please. The lesson for today JerzIsBack, is no dvd's, don't list straight away, and buy the stealth guide and read it thoroughly several times, followed by constant referral back here for the latest updates |
| JamesNorth101 | 01-25-2015 06:33 PM | Re: Hello guys, can somebody help me please. Really one of the worst sort of items you can list.
Read and reread the stealth guide and you will get back to selling :thumb: |

Read and reread the stealth guide and you will get back to selling :thumb: | Reading the stealth guide till the cows come home isn't going to help him if he keeps listing new things that are direct sales only and has no wholesale or grey market. |

bad bad bad idea to start listing those one a new account |
| Roy silks | 01-26-2015 11:24 AM | Re: Hello guys, can somebody help me please. So would the general feeling be - don't list items you sold on your suspended account - not matter what it is?
Also, how much time should pass before it's OK to set up seller account and list (on Amazon)? My account is four days old and I have made one purchase.
Thanks in advance you wizards! |

Thanks in advance you wizards! | Referring to ebay here as i dont use amazon.
It depends on what your item was that you previously sold before.
On all my new accounts, i started off with used clothing and let almost 2 months go by before slowly introducing what i used to sell on suspended account. Kind of blend it in with your current listings but very slowly.
Just as importantly, run your photos thru an exif eraser to delete their information and try to make sure the photos are not identical from last time...ie...use different lighting, different rooms, different backgroun colours etc...
In.answer to your last question, everybody operates differently so hang fire for other peoples ways..
In my opinion, browsing and biddibg is.most important to start with and do this for about one month, then list a.couple of thibgs and let them end, then list a few more, then i would probably think you would be safe to max out your limits.....if they are set at a 10 item limit which on average is what most new accounts start at.
Higher limits at the beginning are rare but do happen so should that occur, then someone might be able to advise better.
As said, this is from an ebay perspective :-) |

Thanks in advance you wizards! | Browse a bit more Roy, maybe buy a couple of things you can use in the packaging of your sales when you start listing, maybe in a week's time, give or take, start listing some very low risk items, not too many at first, maybe some pound or dollar shop items that look like they could have a profit in them (sorry didn't notice if you were here in the UK or not!) sell those low risk items for couple of weeks then start to add in some higher value items. Always the thing with Amazon of course that we have to piggy back onto other things already listed, I had a couple of cyclings kits I wanted to list and although the same one's had been listed on Amazon, they were out of stock, and no word on when or if they were going to appear again, and there was no option for me to 'sell one of my own'. |

Thanks in advance you wizards! | Fitness DVDs are among the worse and bannable media.
General feeling is correct.
How much time should pass? Learn Stealth/Ghost methods RIGHT AWAY - for eB, I liek to browse and bid for 2-4 weeks before selling...my own preference |

Good tips halo, I have never had any limits on my Amazon account, although have to admit have not so far had that much listed on it, might have to change my tactics on it though as the 2 items I sold the day before Christmas Eve had so many viewings it was unreal!, so no real surprise when both sold the next day.
Selling on both platforms is quite an experience because of how different they are, prices tend to be better on Amazon, but getting feedback on it is notoriously difficult at times, buyers just seem to view the leaving feedback thing differently. |
